Houston's?
Yes sir. And they usually have stuff in the back if you want a different cut.

Having worked in the meat department of Leo’s Spring Street Supermarket in Cookeville back in the day, I’m always partial to a local butcher shop. Our unofficial slogan at Leo’s:

But he was on top of the world when he went there. Surely he could have gotten enough of his type of players to at least beat the majority of the teams he played. I am not talking about beating OSU. But consider who he has lost to and by how much.

Not to beat it to death as good posts have been made in response.

The type of football that brought Nebraska success is over. They mauled opponents with option and I formation ground game to go with play action passing while trying to play strong D. They played that type because it was still working and that was the type of player they could recruit in their region and develop. That style of play is over. The game has evolved to being wide open and quick strike. Players have to be more mobile and have great stamina. Strong and plodding will not get it done. Strategically, if opponents can get a stop or force you to kick FG's, you run out of clock to respond to their quick strike O's. You simply cannot come from behind to win.

Nebraska cannot recruit and retain enough players of the modern type because they do not grow enough of their own in that region to make it happen. The only way a FL or GA kid will go there is if they don't get taken by their region's schools or the SEC. As many have said, flat cornfields and such are not big attractions. What jobs await them if their NFL dreams die in Nebraska? OSU, PSU, Michigan, etc. are in major metro regions with ample good careers available post grad if no NFL due to the strong alum networks they have.

For one, Urban came from championships at Florida not Central Florida. He also took over a program already been winning championships it’s just so happen Tressel got in trouble. Kids from Southeast and West coast don’t consistently want to play in Big Ten if they have a choice. Very rare to find ones that do and those will pick Ohio St/PSU/Michigan before Nebraska. The biggest factor of all though being it’s freaking Nebraska. Nobody wants to live in Nebraska or sees a future outside of football raising family in Nebraska at least not the fastest kids in football that his style needs. This honestly should be obvious answer to your question
Obviously nobody is saying it is as easy as OSU. But it seems like people are making the "Nebraska thing" way bigger than it is. Iowa State comes to mind immediately. Anyway, he obviously got some really good players so they should be playing really good by now if he is that great. And recruits used to love to play at Nebraska and Oklahoma and others that some people think nobody wants to live there. They obviously still do at Oklahoma. I'm thinking that is because Oklahoma obviously has a really good coach that gives you a chance to compete for championships and playoffs. So obviously I am not seeing what is so obvious about why he does not have a team that can at least compete with Wisconsin for the division by now let alone one that does not get drilled by Illinois if he is a great coach like everyone thought. So, no, it is not obvious to me which is why I asked.

ive always heard lincoln is a nice town

His problem, imo, is what happens to a lot of coaches when they move up….. they try getting the same kind of players that are on the big dog programs…. Instead of getting 5* elite type players…. They typically get left over trash and they crash and burn….. Nebraska should have been built with the overlooked studs and when they reached a certain point of success…the elite players would have wanted to join that program….They showed a graphics where all his positions had really good size…. An offense like that needs undersized guys with elite speed like Oregon use to have…. You can get that kind of talent bc they are typically overlooked by th big dogs.

Butch Jones was the worst one of all at this…. He didn’t care who the player was as long as it looked like he was recruiting at a certain level….. He had so many high level misses that it is what ended up killing his program.
This makes sense. He tried to go from 13-0 national championship to 13-0 on level with OSU. I'm sure he convinced players that was going to happen which is why they left when it became obvious it wasn't. Wanted to start on top instead of build up from the bottom.

Understand all that. But then you have Oklahoma, Iowa State, Wisconsin, etc. My point was he should be doing a whole better even in Nebraska if he is a great coach. It's almost like people are not questioning his coaching because of where he is. Beast's post seems more likely with trying to start at the top. Not saying anyone can get Nebraska back to where they were.

@utvols88 Give it 30 days. I didn’t care for it much for a couple of weeks, then my body got acclimated to it. Now we have three purples. Best sleep of my life
You don't need to stack them. One is usually enough. Yeah we will give it some time. We have 100 days. Might as well see it through.

That's just it. Compete with Wisconsin. Wisconsin isn't a hotbed of talent, are they? And yet they are consistently flirting with elite status -- double digit wins, conference titles, Rose Bowls. They haven't won a national title but they've just been a model of a solid, consistent football program. Why can't Nebraska do that? They have the facilities and the boosters and the fanbase. It can't have all been steroids.

Iowa St and Matt Campbell have a different philosophy/Style of football for one. Campbell is a Midwest guy. He is a defensive coach. He plays in the Big 12. His offense and defense system is not dependable on a specific skill set. He is a pro coach which is why nfl is so hard after him. He isn’t trying to run the chip Kelly style Oregon offense in country Nebraska. He isn’t pretending he can get kids from central Florida and Deep South Ga to follow him to Nebraska consistently. Campbell can recruit any regions for his style of play especially close to home. Frost has a system that isn’t exactly kind to the local style of football player. He has to reach in other areas thus a longer timeframe needed. He couldn’t even get Milton to come to Nebraska because it was Nebraska so he got stuck with Martinez again.

Also this all could be an overreaction by everyone. Beliema is a hell of a coach and Lovie Smith left him a veteran team that returned 80 percent of its starters that best Nebraska last year. Nebraska should have never been favored. For all we know Illnois may have a solid year and end up not being such a bad loss by seasons end.

Cats can have terrible allergic reactions to grains in most grocery store cat foods. My cat several years ago was near death before I put her on a grain free diet. Found the grain free on Amazon and pet stores for starters. I don't know if that's what's going on with your cat but I thought I'd mention. My cat got a lot of years after that. My cat passed away at 20 years, I felt like it was a good run. Good luck.

Edit: The reaction came on suddenly. Lot's of years before the allergy became apparent.

Second eidt: Turn around was amazingly quick once I changed the cat food.
What brand of grain free food to you get from Amazon?
