I'm certainly not a coach but I think his glaring mistake was taking his entire staff to Nebraska with him. Hiring someone with Big 10 experience would have been smart.

Yeh, Pruitt literally tried once, 2019 post-Bama. Everyone else was worse and drowning vs UK, so he literally had to bring him back in to save that game and then we won out. So, it's not that black and white. Some may just not want to admit our QB room was literally that bad. Exactly why we brought in 2 transfers.

Those teams just weren't very good and QB was just one component - albeit the most important. We also ranked 14th, 13th, and 11th (with the best OL in a decade) in the conference in rushing...and couldn't line up on defense. He just wasn't a good coach, but not gonna blame any coach for trying to win now rather than some hypothetical future. I think a coach has a duty to his players, especially vets, to win every game in the here and now.

The JG jokes were out in full force yesterday due to how Martinez played. We just watched a single QB tank two difference coaches. Frost has to play somebody else if he wants to survive. Has to try something new. But coaches can only do so much with sh!t QB play. Idk how their QB recruiting has gone, but if he has a recruit on the bench - it’s time to play him - or if he has a promising QB committed right now, I’d give him another year. Don’t think Nebraska benefits from getting rid of their golden boy. It will be perceived as their final nail in the coffin.

If you have 2 people, one can swaddle the cat and the other can open its mouth and put it toward the back of throat (with some water/lubricant so it slides). Then we'd also squirt some water in our's mouth so it would need to swallow.

Cat had cancer and we gave her medicine once a week like this for about 4 years.

I just was pointing out it's ridiculous that someone with that kinda ego felt the need to use their $ to rename the coaching position to their name. I would have spent it on blow and hookers myself.

At the time, one of only 4 to be inducted into the CHOF as a player and a coach.

Go back and look at his history with QB's in college. He recruited and developed them to his offense. If the starter did not perform the way he was supposed to he yanked them and sent the next in until he found the one that did it best. As a result he and the programs he led had successful seasons year after year.

A funny moment this morning:

I went to check in on my elderly neighbor whose husband recently went into hospice to see if she needed anything as the storm was coming in. She was in the driveway with her son packing up her car to leave, but asked for a favor. Knowing we have a generator, she asked if she could run an extension cable across the yard to our house to keep her deep freezer running when the power goes out. She didn’t want to lose all her shrimp lol.

So far all is well, still have power, but the gusts are starting to really pick up.

I've paid high dollar prices for mattresses that were suppose to be the best on the market. Over the years, I woke up with severe back aches and vowed never to go that route again. I went to a sleep number store about 5 years ago and dropped $7K on a sleep number bed. Best investment I ever made in my life. Cured my back issue immediately and I sleep like a baby now :):). If you've never tried one, a trip to one of their stores is well worth it.
