I’m taking him Monday. He’s acting fine, so I can’t justify the extortion price of the emergency vet for him.

But I just found a trail of ants around their cat food by the front door. Had to shift all their stuff across the apartment so I could spray Raid down.. and they still won’t stop going near the area. It’s dry now so they’ll be fine, but Jesus man. Cats are uncanny at always doing exactly the opposite of what you want them to do.

A funny moment this morning:

I went to check in on my elderly neighbor whose husband recently went into hospice to see if she needed anything as the storm was coming in. She was in the driveway with her son packing up her car to leave, but asked for a favor. Knowing we have a generator, she asked if she could run an extension cable across the yard to our house to keep her deep freezer running when the power goes out. She didn’t want to lose all her shrimp lol.

So far all is well, still have power, but the gusts are starting to really pick up.
Be safe brother. Are hay bales around houses a new thing? Started seeing where people are doing this.

Jesus lol. Maybe if he were a farm cat just for rat control I never interacted with or if I were a sociopath. I’m rather attached to the little guy.

And considering this is him as I’m typing this, he’s pretty attached to me.

How do yall cook pork ribs?
If you follow these directions, you'll thank me later.

First prepare the ribs by rubbing virgin olive oil and salt and pepper on the ribs.
Wrap the individual racks of ribs in heavy duty aluminum foil (this keeps the juices from leaking during cooking) and place them in the oven for 2 and 1/2 hours at 325 degrees.
After 2 and 1/2 hours, remove the foil and put them on a grill and apply your BBQ sauce. They only need to be on the grill for about 15 or 20 minutes.
If you've followed my instructions, the meat should fall off the bone and the meat should be very tender.

No charge for this info-------enjoy :):):)

At the time, one of only 4 to be inducted into the CHOF as a player and a coach.

Go back and look at his history with QB's in college. He recruited and developed them to his offense. If the starter did not perform the way he was supposed to he yanked them and sent the next in until he found the one that did it best. As a result he and the programs he led had successful seasons year after year.
That’s not why he had successful seasons….. he was successful bc at the time his offense was one of the most innovative in college football and he had the advantage of Florida recruits. He does remind me of Heup in one way…. His offense was always good bc he either had a system QB or a great QB….. Back in the day…. He took a lot of criticism for the way he handled his qbs bc if Ha had a Wuerrful type of qb then he would stick with him though thick and thin…. If his qbs were average…. He would sometimes rotate every other throw.

The JG jokes were out in full force yesterday due to how Martinez played. We just watched a single QB tank two difference coaches. Frost has to play somebody else if he wants to survive. Has to try something new. But coaches can only do so much with sh!t QB play. Idk how their QB recruiting has gone, but if he has a recruit on the bench - it’s time to play him - or if he has a promising QB committed right now, I’d give him another year. Don’t think Nebraska benefits from getting rid of their golden boy. It will be perceived as their final nail in the coffin.

I believe I misunderstood the context of the post. Thought it was saying that QB will solve their issues. Martinez has definitely been disappointing, but they didn’t lose that game just bc of him. They made some horrendous bone headed mistakes and penalties. And I was pointing out the other team was playing a way worse QB but that QB’s team still won the game.

Nebraska looked so ridiculously poorly coached yesterday. Like they didn’t do jack sh*t all off-season. That’s on Frost. He’s been a bigger disappointment than any QB they have.

That's true. That was not a well coached football team. Wasn't quite as bad as our game vs GSU when we didn't even know how to line up, but that was not a well coached team.

They mad about everything. They consider us their big hated rival. It makes their day when they get a Tennessee kid, even if it's one that UT didn't really want.

They enjoy nothing more than our misery.

I just wanna see a well coached that beats the brakes off of Vandy, Kentucky, South Carolina, and Missouri.

Not worth getting into a coaching search debate again, we’re four days from kickoff.

I would just say I don’t think Heupel’s prior experience in the SEC is what got him this job. Comfortability with the AD pushed him over the line.
Now wait, you bring up (4 days before kickoff) that another coach should have gotten the job instead of the one we hired, but you don't want to debate?

My point is the one you mentioned has done nothing to prove his offense will work in the SEC even if he eventually proves it. So, no, he should not have been hired instead of Heupel regardless if Heupel has already proven himself to be what DW was looking for in a coach.

It's Kingston. He wanted us to hire Tee. He's hoping Heup fails so he can say "I was right, we should've hired one of the bottom 10 list coaches I suggested!"

Frost may be fool's gold to begin with. He was the OC at Oregon when the offensive talent was great and the scheme was still ahead of most defenses. His 2nd season at UCF going 12-0 was definitely impressive but set expectations sky high for a guy walking into an almost impossible situation. If he were at a school in the ACC like NC State or Virginia Tech with easier recruiting grounds his offense may indeed thrive. Bringing his entire staff was also a head scratcher. I'm glad Heupel brought in some SEC experience on defense with Garner, Martinez, and Ekeler.

Thanks. I'll try this too. I've got a few people to cook for, so I can try a couple different methods.

I'll let you guys know how it goes.

They looked pretty terrible. I just think they should play the long game with their homegrown guy. To me, it really comes down to whether or not he still has the team and other internal factors. Though, I do think he’s got to find a way to 6 wins this year to save his job.

I do a 2-1-2 method. I cut the fat and then season the meat. I use apple juice in my water bowl. I smoke at 225 degrees. Smoke for two hours pull them out, wrap in tin foil with sauce for 1 hr. After that hour I pull them out and take out of tin foil. I then smoke for another two hours.
