Why is Nebraska the one team whose misfortunes I don’t revel in? Is it because they remind me so much of us?

They are one step ahead because they splurged to hire the super coach their fanbase all wanted.

…and super coach is failing.

A cautionary tail indeed.

Where does Nebraska turn after Scott Frost?

I've seen him wearing Pruitt glasses because they were obviously on the gravy train..it ain't about good coaching or winning with them, it's about $$$$$..
I guess I would just say all Tennessee coaches pay players and 7 on 7 coaches, trainers, high school coaches, etc.

the business is the business.

I know someone mentioned the Joe Milton athletic article. This paragraph made me feel things. Dooley is his private QB coach, not the Dooley we all know:

“His ability to diagram with details has really grown,” Dooley said. “He’s got the answers now. He understands how the boundary safety is going to dictate coverage. He’s learned a lot from those guys (at Tennessee), and he’s so much better at articulating the game. I think he’s in the right situation. I’m expecting great things.”

What is your revised season prediction if we blow out Pitt next week and Joe looks like a superstar doing it?

Let’s just beat Pitt. This Pitt game is very much like the West Virginia and BYU games of recent memory. Let’s start actually winning them.

I can't get enough of ESPN getting duped by a fake high school.
Sounds a bit more complicated than the tweets make it out to be. The organizers (Paragon) were the ones that set the game up and were duped. The organizers then took it to espn for coverage. If I'm Paragon I'm just praying ESPN doesn't sue me into oblivion and I can even continue as a contractor for them.

It definitely reminds me of the time Rivals ranked a fake kid though.

Hopefully our coaches are smart enough to go through proper channels for necessary business dealings. Drop hints to boosters who your top recruits are, don't ask don't tell after that.

I get ESPN being pissed, but if I'm an IMG parent, I'd be raising all sorts of hell
If I were injured in that game and was considered an elite prospect, with the probability of being a pro, I'd sue the piss out of ESPN. They'd probably have to pay, due to negligence.

I'd say it would be possible for an injured player from Bishop Sycamore to sue them as well.

Heck, it might be possible to sue them without being injured.

Ya, you lost me at Dooley. Don't care if it's the same one.

SC will have Doty back by our game.

ESPN didn't force anyone to play. Nor did they organize the event. They merely broadcast it. Don't see how they could have liability.

Please explain why he is a game manager? Wisconsin QBs are game managers. JG is a game manager. Bailey is extremely accurate and usually knows exactly where to go with the ball every time. He blew up Georgia records and played one of the hardest schedules in the country his final year. To say he is a game manager when he has barely played is short sided. They didn’t even barely practice him until game three last year.

Extremely accurate in HS. We haven’t seen or read anything to believe he’s extremely accurate at the college level, not yet at least. He can’t run and he can’t sling it so he would be a game manager unless he can make incredible throws in tight windows and win you some games. Coaches believe Milton’s cannon and legs will win us more games than HBs precision. Milton strikes me as someone likes Josh Allen and josh Allen is doing quite alright for himself. I imagine Allen is a way better runner but he’s in the league bc he can run well and he’s got an absolute cannon.
