He was 71% completion rating against SEC teams and only practiced when the season started. Milton hasn’t made a single play for us yet and you are claiming he is Josh Allen. I have no words.

You know I am not claiming he is Josh Allen the way you are describing, he could be a similar style QB but of course he's probably nowhere near as talented. I think that was clear but sorry if not. I didn't pay attention to the 71% completion but I think Devo said everything you need to know. I just watched the games and read/watched practice reports and I'm not finding where's he's this insanely accurate QB in 2021 as you claimed. He is our 3rd string QB for a reason and that reason is that he is a game manager and starting him would be playing not to lose games. We don't have a chance at beating anyone we're not supposed to with a game manager.

It amazes me how confident GA fans are for their game on Saturday. If you read their board, they're talking about Clemson like they're South Carolina. They think they're going to win easily. I'll never understand the arrogance of that fanbase.

Kirby's recent losses: 44-28, 41-24, 37-10, a 4-8 SC team, mediocre Texas, And then throw in another blowout that year to LSU 36-16.

Where does their confidence come from? They're recruiting champions, not much else.

Back in the day, I waited table on the Strip. I got to serve our own fans and fans from all over the SEC. By far the most arrogant fanbase was UGA and that's not from a bad tip as I don't recall serving any. It's from observing their behavior on the Strip. They were cocky af and ran around like a bunch of 18 year old hyped up on steroid shots and their first beer and looking to pick a fight with anyone they saw. UGA blew back then but that didn't stop them. To put them in perspective, this was at the height of the UT/UF rivalry (radio stations would smash cars, there were games to deface various items with Spurrier's likeness etc. all week long and the strip was absolutely insane) and Florida fans were by far better behaved fans than UGA fans.

Oh puhlease....we are all wanting to watch him on the field for someone else. I think it will be hilarious if he is terrible or if he is insanely good.

I would bet we see all three QBs throughout the year.

I’m not sold that Milton performs well enough in game to put the other two out to pasture.
I hope neither of them get on the field unless it is a blow out bc that would mean we are having a great season.

I think you are seeing things that aren't there. Just because Milton has stats and Bailey has stats doesn't mean they are equal or one is automatically better. Stats aren't created in a vacuum, and all have different circumstances. Different offenses, different expectations, different amount if time to learn proper reads...etc.

The head coach, who can develop that position, has watched and monitored his QB's to determine which one gives him the best chance to win now. Heupel also has expectations to be able to stretch the field and make a play with their feet when the play breaks down or they properly account for defenders.
You are assuming that we had a QB competition. Let me tell you, we didn’t. The day Milton showed up, he was QB1. Heup groomed him all camp. Yes, he spent time with others but he really pushed Milton to be the starter. Milton has an NFL and size and he is mobile. So I am sure JH thinks he can develop him to be a star. I hope he does and we are all successful. But to say that he watched all QBs and determined who was the best just a week ago is nonsense.

I don't really buy this at all. But even if it is true, we still had a QB competition.

Three QBs had a month to convince CJH not to go get another QB and they couldn't do it. It isn't as if we had a numbers issue at the time.

I get ESPN being pissed, but if I'm an IMG parent, I'd be raising all sorts of hell

Did ESPN schedule the game or did IMG? That's the question I want answered beccause if it was IMG then ESPN just went along with it and a school like IMG has to make its own schedule. They may not have done due diligence because with COVID restrictons and the nature of their program, they may have had a difficult time finding opponents.

Bailey’s stats are not the same as Milton’s…Milton started games, Bailey came in at the end when were getting blown out and the opponents D was playing prevent the whole time. (I don’t understand why I am having to explain this…)
This just isn’t true. He started against A&M (#5), Florida (#6), and Vandy. He appeared in the games against Arkansas and Auburn. Where he only threw for 151 yards of his 578 yards total. His four TDs came against the other teams he started against.

Lol. Ok. I’m glad you honestly believe that we had a QB competition. We didn’t. It was Milton day one. And Bailey could lead us to wins, you have no idea. I do know many high school coaches around Atlanta who think he is a star and shows up when he is needed. We shall see what happens as the year goes on. But to write him off is dumb because you think Milton will be a star when he wasn’t even good in the Big ten. Let’s all pray he just needed coaching and a new system and becomes a star.

Believe what you want. I’m not here to convince you. I’m just telling you what has been said to someone I know who talks to many in the program.

I don't know how this helps your case. We got blown out in both those games. He helped manufacture blowouts and then was able to put up pedestrian numbers in said blowouts.
