Refs won’t allow that either. Stoops and UK are a better feel good story than our team. They will be protected with an outside chance they could sneak into the playoffs if they win out. Sankey will make sure the refs call that game in favor of UK.
This is the biggest reason I am tired of this conference and dealing with Sankey. They have their teams and see which teams are good. They protect the good teams for the sake of conference money and it’s despicable. I’m sick of it. Tell Sankey we’re sorry for the fans but you need to correct the officiating issues in this conference and obvious bias. What can he say? Leave? Ok… bye.

Lol internet tough guy? How am I acting tough? You telling me you didn’t do dumb **** while in college? That’s pure hypocrisy. Talk all the dumb **** you want. But I don’t think what they did was right, but I also don’t blame them. Take your old ass to bed grandpa
we never threw stuff. we booed. never threw stuff. we had every opp to win, and we didnt. hard to beat refs. but there offense didn't play well

Tell me right now if we were Bama the AD wouldn’t be on the phone to the conference right now demanding an explanation.

Anybody blaming the fans can screw off. The frustration is absolutely, 100% justified. I would still be throwing crap on the field right now.

Its never justified to be a total embarrassment to your school.

If Hooker is out for an extended period this season will get ugly quick. We are bandaged together on the OL, can keep the RB room healthy, and defense is hanging on by a thread.

And oh yeah, officiating hasn’t done us any favors and will get even worse this week.

The refs screwed us. Not Ole Miss. Not our own team. Not our own cheerleaders or band who had to leave because of all the stuff raining down. You want to show your disdain, inundate the SEC office with complaints. Throwing **** didn't punish the refs. It didn't help our team. Hell, it certainly didn't help our image, which is one of the things Heupel has to try and rebuild. We're all pissed off at getting screwed over, but throwing **** didn't help in any way. Being frustrated doesn't give you the right to do stupid ****.

Sending those vile letters has worked great in the past.

Officiating is a major problem in both NCAA basketball and football. For all the money generated officials should be full time employees like the NFL.
One of the networks has former SEC ref, Matt Austin, as an analyst for video reviews. He is wrong most of the time they have him on.
I do not believe in the league is conspiring against us or anyone else. We just have bad officials and the SEC does not hold them accountable and fines anyone who criticizes the officials.

Just finished the game. (Have a sick 6 month old.)

I understand the frustration from the fake injuries to the horrible ref calls, but come on, fans. What an embarrassment.

*Lane won’t, but he needs to address his team about taunting the way they were last night at the fans.

Games are too fast for human officials to keep up. At some point, technology must make up the difference. I’ve seen officials botch video review many times. The human element is inescapable.

“First, I want to acknowledge, for the few fans, what transpired at the end, disappointed in the way that the game ended with some of the things being thrown from the crowd,” Heupel said to open his postgame press conference. “I know that’s a very few of our crowd members. For the most part of a football game, what an unbelievable atmosphere, to see Vol nation show out the way they did, from Vol Walk to the stadium to the atmosphere inside of the stadium all night long. Phenomenal to watch and be a part of.
“Two good football teams. Played really hard tonight. Came out with the short end of the stick. Just talked to our guys in the locker room, just disappointed that … we didn’t play smart enough, and really in all three phases of the football game. Didn’t play smart enough to make the plays that were there for us and beat ourselves in some way, not taking anything away from Ole Miss. That’s a really good football team. Their quarterback’s a special player.”

We are playing way above expectations. We’re going to take a beating this week with everyone being out. Vandy and South Alabama should be the 6 wins. Getting Kentucky would feel a whole lot better than a 4 game losing streak and 4-6 going into the last two. Being 5-4 for Georgia would also have a better atmosphere coming off a win than 4-5. Kentucky has become a huge game.
