I knew Nike vs Adidas was a thing with recruits. Didn’t realize that the pants the head coach wears had so much of a recruiting impact. I’m more of a Lucky Brand guy myself, but if the recruits want to see Coach Huepel’s arse in Levi’s, Carharts or Wranglers, let’s make it happen.

I don’t think it’s a “must win.”

I think Heupel has already put together quite a body of work for recruits to consider to this point in the season. If we stumble down the stretch, it’s quite logical to explain that as a lack of competitive depth, etc.

with that said, Vols by 3+ TDs!!

Adidas has made a comeback, funny enough it was right after Tennessee dropped them. They had a line of several new shoes, namely NMD and Ultra Boost that took over the sneaker game for a few years. Plus the Yeezy line which is massive. Nike has taken back their market share in the last couple of years since adidas dropped all three of those to explode back into streetwear for the first time since Run DMC… but I wouldn’t mind Tennessee going back to adidas. It’s not the brand it was from 1995-2014 when we had them.

First off, look at the F’ing score.

Second, I’m all in on CJH. He will do great things here. But at the end of the day the score is what you are.

First, unlike the gump and Jones, CJH went for it on 4th down on his own 30 sending a message to his team that we play to win a game and not for moral victories like we did against Florida last year when we did not lose by more than 20. Did you enjoy that crap show last year when we were toyed with like a controlled scrimmage? He didn't punt till it was no way possible with time left to have a shot.

Second, we were within a TD in the 4th quarter with Bama before a team with less than half the talent of Bama and no depth at all from the freaking beginning of the game just could no longer keep us.

Third, the score is not what you are. We were way worse despite keeping the final score against Florida and we lost by 31 last year not 28 but do you think this team is only four points better than last year. It was 42-17 going into the 4th last year with a full roster.

So just shut up if you want to keep crapping on this team.

Flowers--- not good. Secondary needs to quit playing so much zone.

Why didn't we throw more slant/short yardage over the middle to expose tooty? there was room there...

Butler and Young gave their all every play.

Team NEVER quit, just had some bad 'ish happen and we simply got tired with no depth.

If our O line and Hooker/Evans are healthy, we will be KY by double digits.

He's pretty much carrying Atlanta right now. Arthur Smith is making sure he's getting touches pretty much everywhere but QB. Best utilization of his talents in his career.

I’m not arguing against hating Adidas in their time here. They were consistently bad. The 2004 alternate throwback unis vs UNLV were the lone bright spot.

That said- adidas is infinitely better now. Definitely on par with Nike. My personal preference is adidas, but that’s simply because Ultra Boost has become my go-to sneaker.

I’m not crapping on the team. I’m all in on Heupel so I don’t know what you are talking about.

At the end of the day, we lost, and we lost big. The effort was there and there was fight for 60 minutes. I also believe this team is way better than last year.

But we still lost by 4 TDs, no?

He had a rough night. Was getting juked by eeerbody. Looked tired a lot of times. I think LB is we’re depth is killing us. Banks and Beasley playing basically all plays

So I just found out Tillman is only from the class of 2018. Lol I thought this was his last year, glad he can be back next year. He's really come along this season, it'll be nice to have one of the big three WRs back next year. Thought they were all gone
