Beasley has played way better than I ever imagined in some ways but dude ain't SEC quality. No offense to him, he's playing his ass off.

Based off what? Because athletically and testing he’s one of most athletic players. He needs snaps… which he is getting. He will be a monster next year. Look how much better banks is now

Why didn't we throw more slant/short yardage over the middle to expose tooty? there was room there...

Butler and Young gave their all every play.

Team NEVER quit, just had some bad 'ish happen and we simply got tired with no depth.

If our O line and Hooker/Evans are healthy, we will be KY by double digits.

Playing man with our secondary is gonna be a scary proposition. I'm not even sold on Taylor who many seem to think is our best DB. If you're gonna play man, you'd better be frisky up front and get some heat on the qb. Right now I don't think the speed or the talent is there to play a lot of man coverage much less have a DB get up and press.

We are a high ZP / spot drop team. That’s not changing.

In regards to slants are Henry… we use wide splits and don’t run the patterns that merit playing rip/liz or match 3 which is what he saban tree bases out of.

In this weeks ESPN computer rankings all of our loses are to teams in the top 12 and shoulda/coulda beat 2 of those teams. Those 2 teams have the most veteran teams in college football with fantastic QB’s having great seasons.

Remember when people said Pitt sucked and was a 500 team at best?

FYI, We are ranked 25th in that computer ranking with a 500 record.

Taylor is not a man CB. He don't have the best hips. He is definitely better in zone.

He went from a QB that needed the offense dummied down for him against Pitt…. To looking ok against Florida…. To looking like one of the top qbs in the conference/ country now…. As long as we have JH…. I don’t think qb will be an issue going forward.

Need the UK win Bad

No we don't..we want it bad, but that is different. We are not beating UK with Cade out. He is the difference...the backups kill the offense.

I don't understand why so many people are "expecting" a win against them...this is not your typical crap Kentucky program, they are a good, solid, well coached and prepared team.

If the coaches pull it off it will just be further proof that they are doing an outstanding job, however losing the game only reinforces the fact that they are bringing a knife to a gunfight against the better SEC teams.

Glad you have taken up for Beasley. He played a very good game until fatigue set in. Our defense has no depth and he like most played too many snaps. Beasley has improved game by game. He will only get better with more experience.

Everyone talks about the defense but our offense has been an issue the past two days….. we have hit some big plays but have lacked consistency….. All of these issues are lack of depth/talent on both side of the ball….. if our offense played better last week.That game would have been a win…. I am very happy with this staff…. They have proven every concern I had about them wrong…. The only one left is recruiting….. we have to bring in the talent necessary to improve.

Cade being out is the reason for the offensive doldrums..period...the guys replacing him at that critical position are useless..absolutely useless..and it is not their fault. They are not SEC quality, but they are all we have now.
