Went back and looked at the post from the day before and the day CJH was hired. Pure gold, from everybody, including myself. Is a good 30 min read. I can say @johnfnkelly wasn't a happy camper.

I honest;y can't remember my first reaction.

I need to see repracutions on the faking injuries front. A coach as classless as Kiffin isn't going to be the norm but we start reaching big time games again..

As long as we've waited, some punk coach costs us a big win with that crap.

it is intereating that our offense seems to wain in second half. talk me out if it.

BG - Scored 24 of our 38 pts in 2nd half
Pitt - scored 14 vs 20 1st half but we were also down to 3rd back and Hooker first time in. Also refs screwed us out of potential TD
Florida - for sure rough 2nd half. Curious to what happens if Callaway makes that catch
Mizzu/TN tech- no issues either half but awful defenses
South Carolina - we admitted to letting foot off gas and play calling was just trying to get out without injuries
Ole Miss - offense struggled 1st half and got better 2nd half
Alabama - 14pts first half vs 10 2nd half. Offense never really consistent in either half due to no run game

I was devastated when it was revealed that Franklin was the big fish. Then trying to read through all the posts while at work from all those people that came out of nowhere that were going off about the hire, I thought we had hired another Butch. Was so relieved when I saw that it was CJH. Not that I thought he would do all that great considering the shape we were in with the desertions, but thought we could have a fun offense for a while then maybe get in shape to really get a good coach. Pleasantly surprised now.

I was pissed when we hired Heupel but it was because we had people in here bragging about a special coup like we had a major name in bag and we had snitched our own program out only to not reel in the big fish. You don’t do stuff like that unless you have someone signed and delivered. Typical Fail from the $ folk never closing deals like they do elsewhere. After I let go of that and dig into Heup then I became optimistic. I’ve been sold since Pitt game as I had never watched a loss and been like damn that was fun until that game.

Yep beat up OL and RB group…. Not good for an offense that Heup says revolves around run game and it has showed it really does

If any of you are fans of the book Dune, you will love the movie. Been a long time since I've seen a movie stay so true to the book.

Guess that’s what happens when dealing with characters like Franklin. You can’t take them at their word. And afraid the mentality was anything but Pruitt.

I think UK is a good team. It's just some of the things they've shown make me think we are a bad matchup for them.

HAHA! The atmosphere was so awful in here at the time cause so many coaches turned us down. So glad Franklin said no. It did have the feel of having to settle when we hired Coach Hype.
