I think yours was a lemon and an exception. There wasn’t a better more reliable vehicle produced from 1995-2005 than Nissan. Chevy or Ford from the same time period are largely garbage, programmed to give out around 100,000 miles. This is a big reason why those companies almost foundered circa ‘05-‘08 and had to be bailed out.

I bought a 2WD Nissan pickup brand new in 1997, and still drive it with 260,000+ miles on it. Clutch completely rusted out at one point and I’ve replaced the alternator, but that’s the most I’ve had to do to it in 25 years. Unfortunately, some time after 2005, Nissan got cute with the push button ignition and a transmission that wasn’t worth a $6¡7! and goes out around 100K miles. Don’t think I’ll ever buy a Nissan 2006-present.

F-150’s are the prettiest truck on the road. However, if you are buying a vehicle 2006-present, and reliability and longevity are priorities, better go Toyota or Honda after 2010
Tend to actually agree. The sr20de engine was legendary back then...I think you may be right and I ran into b2b lemon engines.

I've always wanted to rebuild a "classic" se-r and go full n/a...maybe t25 turbo. Always said I would once I grew up and had cash lying around. Now the issue is living downtown and no space to work on a car. One day when I turn into an old man (😄) I'll do the house, yard, and garage thing...then she shall be built and rise like a phoenix and terrorize the Bristol speedway as a total sleeper 🤤

I hate what coaching changes does to the kids that signed with a former coach, brings out the momma bear in me. I know he is leaving in the middle of a season, but the kid didn’t bail when they were leaving in droves. I don’t care what anyone else comments on it. I’m rooting for him to find a good team and ball out, and I will root for him.
Sorry I feel differently...I rooted for the kid as hard as anybody, but there is no valid reason for leaving right now, and he knows it. We are now in a very precarious position thanks to this. Hooker is hurt, Milton sucks and his super fragile also.

Correct. I work in the energy industry.

I had something lengthy typed out discussing the energy situation in more detail, but I decided to leave it be. I'll just say the world today is backwards in many ways.

I will say, however, when you discuss batteries, EVs, and energy storage related to batteries and EVs, you have to discuss the raw materials related to such technology. I tempt anyone interested to research what those materials are, where they come from, and who the biggest investors currently are.

Or you could share your knowledge with us. Please, hope that first sentence doesn’t come across wrong. I am interested for sure.

Well, this game is making me sick to my stomach. They need to play better when they get to Atlanta, dammit.

It’s the world we live in now. I know what kind of predicament this leaves the QB depth, and we don’t know what he’s inner crowd (dad) is telling him. Reality, he could have left after fall camp. He stuck around when the likes of a now b*** player bolted when the money looked better. He’s a kid in a kid mind, looking out for his future. As long as we don’t face him on a opposing side, I’m going to root for him.

Since we're on this car thing, my daughter gave me a voucher to drive a supercar down at various tracks around the country as a Christmas gift last year. Covid, and other issues has delayed me doing it. I think next spring is when I'll schedule it. Which car should I choose?

If the Mclaren will start, drive it. If it doesn't but you believe you can actually drive, take out the 911. After that I would take the GT-R. I bet you would set your best lap in that one.

Bailey should go to Clemson. They need a QB. Or depending on the HC hire, USC.
They have an actual 5* QB coming in (as usual). Hard to imagine Clemson clamoring for our 3rd stringer, nor he clamoring to go up vs that competition. Like others have mentioned, Ga Tech...Duke...Wake...Memphis...SMU seem a lot more reasonable for the kid.

MJ has never been political like Lebron (the biggest hypocrite in sports) has but I’m with Enes all day

This topic hasn’t been discussed enough and it gets ignored wayyyy more than it should.illl just never be able to understand those people who hate America..knowing what we know about other countries and the cheap slave labor they get away with by using young kids..that kind of S**t would never happen here and if it did heads would roll.
