Honestly, not sure how anyone can blame HB for wanting to leave. I can understand being upset by the timing, but you can't blame the kid for wanting to find a place he could potentially start. But I also don't think everyone has to have a "wish him the best" attitude. I don't wish him ill, but once he leaves the team, he leaves my orbit, unless we're playing him. And in that case I'm certainly not wishing him the best. I'm hoping every pass he throws is a pick 6.
I would have if he had just stayed through the next few weeks. There is no good compelling reason at this point for him to leave. I will eventually get over it, and as long as we never play him I hope he does well. He could have left sooner, but he could have stayed till the end of the season too. It’s the world we live in now. I know what kind of predicament this leaves the QB depth, and we don’t know what he’s inner crowd (dad) is telling him. Reality, he could have left after fall camp. He stuck around when the likes of a now b*** player bolted when the money looked better. He’s a kid in a kid mind, looking out for his future. As long as we don’t face him on a opposing side, I’m going to root for him.
The difference is the amount of valuable snaps expected. Everyone else you mention started and/or played a ton of snaps. HB not so much.Screw that. People hate on Toots, Gray, Morris, etc and yet HB left MIDSEASON and seems to be getting a total pass.
I'd love to hear what the difference is...
