Bailey clearly doesn't fit this system. Or maybe he doesn't want to fit this system? Don't really know. But it's entirely possible a change of scenery causes something to click and he lives up to his potential. That doesn't make Heupel suddenly a bad coach. For whatever reason, HB clearly cannot cut it here. Whatever he does elsewhere doesn't change that fact.
I never said it would make him a bad coach, nor do I believe anything of the sort, but if he goes elsewhere and plays great, then he could have for us...good QBs don't grow on trees and it would be grounds for legitimate criticism.

It is a hypothetical anyway, so it doesn't matter until/unless it happens, and no matter how good a coach you are you can make mistakes. I already said however that I believe Heupel is probably right due to his experience and that Bailey just isn't good enough to ever play for us.

I don't think gambling up to 2K a month is considered gambling for fun :cool::cool:. Playing a $5 or $10 Nassau in golf is fun :p:p:p
2k is high. But definitely close to $1,000. Usually break even throughout the year. Have friends who have lost over 10k in a weekend and won over 30k. I can’t ever do that. My wife would kill me. If I start losing money on it, I’ll stop. But I break about even.

I think the point he was going for is 'fit'. HB may go elsewhere and do great. That will likely have more to do with it being a much better fit for HB, than it would with cjh missing out or Making the wrong personnel decision.

If the players aren't/weren't going to be eligible for taking payment...then that should prevent them from playing at their new schools. The fact they are playing right now tells me without a shadow of a doubt the NCAA won't be doing **** about it.
You said yourself they’re probably going to be out of college before anything is done, if anything is.
Nobody expected them to be ineligible this year or the next.

B-b-but "he wasn't given a fair chance!" 🤣

Oh and if you're a backup, then leaving midseason on "your team" gets a pass. When did this place get so soft?
I’m seeing a lot of indignation for very little reason. Guess it has to go through it’s cycle…like a woman.

Well said-----I can hear them now :cool::cool:
I'm not a nega and I think Heupel is showing great promise and he gives me hope..but..

IF..IF..IF..Bailey goes off somewhere else while we piddle around with mediocre QBs after Hooker leaves...then Heupels judgment of Bailey will be fair game and justifiably worthy of criticism.

I don't believe Bailey will though. I think he will turn out to be mediocre at best.

There is a difference as HT was a starter, so he wasn’t leaving for playing time. I do not fault HB for leaving, but I do not like the timing.
In the players defense that left….. we were a miserable wreck….. facing NCAA violations….. every person they were close to was fired including all the auxiliary staff…. HT has NFL aspirations and was being coached by freaking Moose….. I blame the Universities administration for players wanting to leave but hopefully, we are on our way back up.

That makes no sense. Say HB stays and both of the other QB's get hurt. Is he gonna magically run this offense like the other two? He can't see the damn field now so it will not make one bit of difference. People are nuts-----
Are you f'n kidding me? This is ridiculous...Bailey at least proved he can beat Vanderbilt and he played a good game. Who is behind Milton now?..I don't have any idea...do you?

I know you are jesting.

But if anyone did want to measure epeen with likes, they’d need to look at post to like ratio after the like feature was implemented.
Yeah...I could care less, and I'm not sure how many I did have, but I had way over 10,000 posts before likes were instituted. I had been on for a long time when that was started.

When can teams accept transfers?
unless it’s anytime I don’t see being early an advantage.
As soon as Rattler, and other QBs that have actually played more than mop up duty they will be first in line.

Coaches can talk to them legally when they are in the portal. Big difference if u are another position because teams might be looking for multiple DL etc.
