Volnation, I don’t post very often but I wanted to ask if you all would consider dominating another poll. My son had a big game Friday night and is up for area player of the week. He caught his first and second TD of the year including the game winner with under a minute to go. He had 7 catches for 139 including the two TDs. If any of you have time, please vote for Chyler Lee. Thanks and GBO!

Voted. You should consider a smear campaign against that Cade Wood kid. I heard he was juicing.

Haha. He racked up yards in a blowout but still impressive. But I did hear he kicks puppies regularly and he hates old people and children. More like Cade Wood kick your grandma and grandkid at the same time if he got a chance. One with each leg. That’s just what I heard. TIFWIW.

SMU - Southern Methodist University, a Christian school

Fort Worth/Lubbock? Not sure I have seen those two grouped together. Those cities are 315 miles apart. Dallas and Fort Worth are only 30 miles apart. The DFW metroplex has approximately 7.5 million people making it larger in population than 37 US states. Dallas is the country’s 9th biggest city and FW is the 12th largest. There is a big and shared recruiting area for both schools. I think it comes down to player preference for each school and the desire to play P5 football.

Both schools are small, private schools (SMU - 12,400 students and TCU - 11,000 students). There are larger schools in the area, such as UNT with 41,000 and UT-Arlington with 48,500. UNT plays in Conference USA and UTA does not have a football team. UT Dallas has 28,000 students and plays in DIII.
All accurate.

And the hate toward Jackson is also irrational. All the guy did was have the lowest ERA on the team during the regular season. Yet folks here complained every time he came in during the post season. "He should never pitch again." He had 2 bad outings against LA. That's it. It can happen to anyone.
This has been his best year. Every other year his "one bad outing" is a nightly occurrence

I've always despised the -hole terminology in baseball. I don't know exactly why, I think some ultra tool bag baseball guys overused it maybe.

Eh, just easier than the "3rd position in the batting lineup." Point remains, lineup would be much more solid right now with Albies moved to the bottom half. Snit acts like either Rosario or Soler are leadoff while the other has to be in the "5th position in the batting lineup." Move Albies out. 1. Rosario, 2. Freeman, 3. Soler, 4. Riley.
