Just now watched the 2nd half of the Ole Miss game...just wow. So many garbage things had to happen to keep us from winning...and we hurt ourselves for sure too. The hold that turned from 2nd and 3 to 1st and 19 was killer. As was running the next 2 plays. We seemed conservative to take shots...or maybe they took them away and we just had to take what they gave us idk. But so many opportunities...tough to watch, really...however exciting it was.

All in all our offense just needed to be eveb half decent in the first half...or maybe the refs don't STEAL a TD from us, and we're golden. Though I'll give credit to OM's defense too...they somehow played their best game of the year all a sudden.
Jeez man...it ain't that difficult to see what happened..they cheap shotted Cade out of the game three plays in and Davis absolutely sucking caused the OL to collapse. That is how they won. If Cade is in we roll them..period.

We can not run consistently without him..against anybody. The backups are juco level players at the most important position on the OL.

I've coach baseball and it just is not as easy as sitting on your couch and making decisions. Always having to think at least an inning if not more ahead. He is doing fine and no way would anyone making a decision before the result always decide the same thing. I saw a guy over a baseball facility posting on facebook that Jackson was trash. Pointed out we would not be where we are without him and needed him the rest of the way if we were going to win this thing. That is how you coach and manage people and give them confidence then hope they come thru. Works sometimes and other times it does not. I do not always agree with every move he makes but glad he has got a team that has lost so much talent to where we are and hope we get one more game and hopefully do so tonight.
And the hate toward Jackson is also irrational. All the guy did was have the lowest ERA on the team during the regular season. Yet folks here complained every time he came in during the post season. "He should never pitch again." He had 2 bad outings against LA. That's it. It can happen to anyone.

We just need Snit to sprinkle his magic pixie dust on Albies tomorrow and we'll be alright.

I have blocked that memory.
I have always suspected money was involved...I know that isn't a popular thing to say, but he was a SR going no where after that game, and since he was THE third down go to player that year, the easiest way to shave points by bookies would be to get to him...

Crazy?...I know..but that guy never dropped anything until that game and then he just mysteriously drops 1st down converting pass after pass after pass in that game?..🤔

I don't really believe it..but I will always have my doubts.

Volnation, I don’t post very often but I wanted to ask if you all would consider dominating another poll. My son had a big game Friday night and is up for area player of the week. He caught his first and second TD of the year including the game winner with under a minute to go. He had 7 catches for 139 including the two TDs. If any of you have time, please vote for Chyler Lee. Thanks and GBO!

I've given you at least 300 votes today. If you could get a few more of these morans on here to do that we could Linda ronstadt that other dude.

I have said that he has done a lot of good in the postseason but his pitching choices in the last two games have been beyond bad. We are extremely fortunate that Kyle Wright bailed us out in game 4 but last night we couldn't overcome Snit in game 5.

Brian Snitker did not whisper magic words into Duvall's ear that enabled him to hit a grand slam last night nor did he anoint Dansby or Soler with magic oil or sprinkle pixie dust on them to enable them to go back to back to win game 4.

His influence is primarily seen in pitching selections and he has been very bad this series.
Who sets the line-up?

Honestly...TCU is a harder spot than SMU. SMU is in Dallas and not a private Christian school. A bit easier to recruit to Dallas over Fort Worth/Lubbock, plenty of local talent close by admission requirements are a bit easier too I believe. Biggest down side is American conference vs Big 12 (Power 5).
SMU - Southern Methodist University, a Christian school

Fort Worth/Lubbock? Not sure I have seen those two grouped together. Those cities are 315 miles apart. Dallas and Fort Worth are only 30 miles apart. The DFW metroplex has approximately 7.5 million people making it larger in population than 37 US states. Dallas is the country’s 9th biggest city and FW is the 12th largest. There is a big and shared recruiting area for both schools. I think it comes down to player preference for each school and the desire to play P5 football.

Both schools are small, private schools (SMU - 12,400 students and TCU - 11,000 students). There are larger schools in the area, such as UNT with 41,000 and UT-Arlington with 48,500. UNT plays in Conference USA and UTA does not have a football team. UT Dallas has 28,000 students and plays in DIII.

Takes a real genius to select the batting order. Those guys could never hit if Snitker didn't put them in the correct order. What was I thinking? So glad he put Dansby in the 8 spot or he never would have homered the other night. Great job Snit!

Speaking of which though, do you remember when he batted Ender Inciarte at leadoff for half the season instead of Acuna lolololol

I voted somewhere between 10-20 votes and then it says, "thank you, we've already counted your vote". I have chrome and duckduckgo browsers and when it said that I immediately switched browsers and it would allow another 20 or so votes. Then switched back to the other. I feel like a Democrat.

😅
I got my daughter a player of the week by voting over 3-4,000 times myself…. I was never so happy as when voting ended.

I agree that Snit has made mistakes. All managers do. But I can think of 28 other managers that would love to be where he is right now, and aren't. So there's that.

You da man InVOLuntary! To be fair, you’ve voted for him more than I have but I agree we need everyone else to pick it up. It takes a village you morans!
