I just can't let this go. He is one game from winning it all and you call him garbage? I know you watch a lot of games, but can't you admit that he has to be doing something right? Good gracious, this is exhausting.

I didn’t think CJH go anywhere for a while, thought 100% bought in and fully embraced UT. Hopefully we can hang on to him, but it’s good to know schools of that caliber are coming after our coach. Thanks for the info.

There's plenty of irrational hate for Snit, even by our standards. Regardless what happens the rest of the Series, what he, and the staff, and the players have done so far is nothing short of amazing.

Few outside their dugout gave them a chance to beat the Brewers. Even fewer gave them a chance to beat the Dodgers. And fewer still gave them a chance to beat the Stros. When Morton went down early in game one, why continue the Series? Then Fried was bad in game 2.

How the Braves are up 3-2 at this point is unbelievable. I know, I know, Snit has nothing to do with it.

I have said that he has done a lot of good in the postseason but his pitching choices in the last two games have been beyond bad. We are extremely fortunate that Kyle Wright bailed us out in game 4 but last night we couldn't overcome Snit in game 5.

Brian Snitker did not whisper magic words into Duvall's ear that enabled him to hit a grand slam last night nor did he anoint Dansby or Soler with magic oil or sprinkle pixie dust on them to enable them to go back to back to win game 4.

His influence is primarily seen in pitching selections and he has been very bad this series.

Mehlan is a 💩 recruiter and an iffy developer overall...he is a four years into his tenure and going backwards...fast. I hate Florida fans, but they are not wrong, and you are blind if you don't see it.

Pitching coach has no input? Who sets the lineup? Who motivates the players? Who establishes and maintains team culture and chemistry? He has made some good pitching moves and his staff only gave up two runs in Game 5. You say players keep bailing him out but I see it as him putting them in position to succeed. We only remember the bad pitching decisions. There are tons of good ones that never get noticed. What about Will Smith? People were hating on him but Snit had a plan and stuck to it and Smith has been very good. I have a lot more faith in Snit to make the right call than I do in Dusty.

“Like I said, these next four teams are gonna have to strap it on,” Epps continued. “No one in the building is very happy. No one likes to lose, but especially like that…for the rest of the season, I think we can expect an undefeated last four games.”

I followed up by asking Josh Ali how much trouble Tennessee is in this year, bringing back memories of 2017 when Kentucky was faced with the same situation.

“Even more.“

“I know Kentucky and Louisville is a rivalry, but this (Tennessee) game feels more like a rivalry,” Ali finished.
