Some of us have not been Braves fans through the years. For this one season/WS - all Vol fans should be Braves fans. Not only did they overcome adversity to kick azz, they shoved it into the face of the corrupt leadership who rule the game like it is their personal fiefdom. Vol fans take note - this is the path.

That it was against Manfred's Astros makes it all that much more special. What a great job both your GM and Manager did. The players were amazingly focused. Congrats to all Baves fans.

Go Baves!

I’ll never understand drinking and driving when you are rich. Like bruh…. You can get the nice Taxi rides back and not put a dent in your pocket

Ever try taking keys from a drunk person? Especially one with a nice car? First off they never think they’re drunk and you can’t reason with them. Second they always think they’re car will be stolen. I’ve had friends refuse to leave their F150 with 80k miles on it in a parking lot let alone these 20 year olds with Lamborghinis.

It’s not about being rich. It’s just about being dumb. With Uber etc there is no reason at all to drive drunk. But it still happens all the time.

So I may be alone in this opinion, but if you are drunk and pick up a gun or pick up a knife and kill someone, I believe that you would go to jail for much longer…

Why isn’t the penalty much worse for using a 3k pound bludgeon to kill someone? What if you’re drunk and kill someone with a sledgehammer or baseball bat?

With all the PSAs about not drinking and driving, I think that drunk vehicular homicide is closer to premeditated than accidental.

One of the burn injury surgeons at Parkland hospital was going in to save someone’s life when his was ended by a drunk driver. That drunk robbed the world of a phenomenal person who had saved hundreds if not thousands of lives that would have been lost due to their burn related injuries. How many more people could he have saved? All because some guy was still drunk at 7AM on a Sunday and ran a stop sign. 😐

End rant.
I agree..I hate drunk drivers and hate that stupid "but they didn't mean to" 🦬 💩

You sure as hell meant to get drunk and then play Russian roulette with everybody else on the roads life.

I also hate that stupid "should two lives be ruined over a tragic mistake, living with it will be bad enough" 🦬💩

Umm because it was an accident? It’s nowhere close to pre meditated. A lot different than picking up a gun or knife while intoxicated and intentionally going out to kill someone. He should definitely be punished, but it’s nowhere close to the same offense. All about intention. Ppl accidentally kill others with guns too, even sober, and that’s also a different penalty. A lot harder to accidentally kill someone with a knife though
It's not an accident...getting drunk and driving is absolutely premeditated.

Sorry for you and the world's loss. Completely agree.

I get that some folks like to drink alcohol and I am not condemning it at all as I did when I was a younger man. But there are conditions that come with that. One is never to drink and drive. How hard is that to understand? Such a disrespectful and dangerous thing to do. Always have a designated driver or take an uber or something. Just don't do it. Way too many lives have been ruined and lost because of it. If you cannot get over the hump, get help immediately.

That's not even considering the damage of alcoholism in general. When you lose family and friends to it, both dead and still living (some of you will know what I mean) - it sobers you up real quick.

Not concerned with Rodriguez playing or not. UK's RB's are always overrated. You give an average kid who runs hard 20 carries with a consistent oline and he's going to rack up some yards.

It's not like Snell has done anything in the league. A guy like Tim Jordan would have a bunch of yards there as well.

I prefer he play considering his fumblitis.

Am disappointed to hear their tackle and OLB who both had to be helped off the field last week will be playing this weekend.

Sounds like their fat body DT (McCall?) will miss. Should help us run the ball against them.

Hey you aren’t allowed to have a logical conversation with me Sir. Unacceptable.

Really hoping Matthew Butler gets drafted relatively high. Going to a big recruiting pitch in just our first year.
Heck I think you can recruiting pitch Byron Young and how much he has improved in such a small amount of time. By far our best pass rusher. Plus they absolutely made him into a Tank in our Strength and conditioning program.

I don’t think it’ll be high because he won’t win in the underwear olympics. But like Tuttle, Jennings, Callaway, and others, he’ll end up on a roster and contributing in some fashion.
