An update on the chronicles of my big toe, I went to the doctor today. Spiral fracture. Saw an orthopedist and they put me in a walking boot to be safe. Have to go back next week. If not for the fact I'm a diabetic, I'd have just let it be, but when you are diabetic, they emphasize taking care of your feet. Bad things can happens, and you can lose your feet if you're not careful.
Sorry I made the joke about rubbing dirt on it. I didnā€™t realize you were diabetic. Yeah you better keep an eye on that. I had two good friends loose their foot and then their leg over a toe issue and them having diabetes. Hope all goes well for you.

No big deal. Never apologize for kidding around. We're all just having fun.

Truth is if a Receiver canā€™t play in this system then heā€™s probably not going to do anything anywhere else. Just find something else to do. This route tree is super effective but itā€™s simple. Itā€™s mainly a lot of curls, screens, crossers, and verts. Pretty telling if you canā€™t get on the field. The tempo and sequencing are the keys to it.
I donā€™t think itā€™s all about ability and being able.
Likely they would of gotten on the field for the 2 previous coaches.
Likely Heupel has a higher standard of commitment, which leads to a winning culture.
Likely why were seeing much more out of virtually the same players

Yeah...a lot of folks don't know Weezy is in pretty bad shape health wise, he is blessed to be alive really.

He was all toe up about it.

To be honest if I was filthy rich the first thing I'd have is a driver. Just not something I really care to do, and if I can sit in the back and nap why someone else handles it then I would.

A close second would be a personal chef.
I love to drive but a personal chefā€¦number 1 for me!

It has to be something else. They havenā€™t given up on Hyatt.
I mean he ran a negative mesh route somehow and never saw the field again, I would assume it has to do with his ā€œmental toughnessā€ you either want to get better or want to pout and sit on the sidelines Iā€™m going to go with he is probably not taking being benched well.

One thing I really appreciate about this staff..they really seem to believe in accountability.

How long does he have to pay for his sins? lol He has been clean since he has been at Liberty. Some of you are harder on him than what Ruggs did. lol
People like him leading young adults is why some young people think it's OK to break the law, as long as they don't get caught. . . or kill someone.

It's going to be hard for him to get a big-time position, since he would be representing a half-billion $ program, where moral-code and public self-conduct are primary assets the coach must have. He's shown the capability of serious misconduct and represents a huge risk for any program with household name recognition. . . imo.

All I will say in rebuttal to that is by that rationale, from the stories of evil you have heralded about your youth, you should be behind those very bars yourself. The Christian would have empathy for all involved. A tragedy at the hands of a fool is still a tragedy. Every part of it sucks. Plenty of UT alumns can speak on that.
Meanwhile...another innocent person was just killed somewhere by an uncaring drunk fool, in a little less than an hour another one will die, and about 50ish minutes yet another will die....but I am the bad guy...makes a ton of sense šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

I did a lot of damage to myself, but I have never harmed an innocent person.

That's fair and I believe he needs some punishment as well. My whole thing is don't confuse things. Restitution helps the families and in some cases punishment is corrective but in other cases (especially where there's no intent to harm) punishment is simply punishment. The latter does nothing to help anyone. It just is.
I must not be explaining myself well. It helps families tremendously knowing that someone who chose to drink and drive and killed their loved one is being punished instead of explaining away their behavior with they did not mean for it to happen so letā€™s focus on helping them. Donā€™t really care if the punishment is corrective or want money. Justice brings healing. Lost too many because of this.
