So which staff member do we have to sacrifice to get a recruiter? I'm ok with missing on a top guy like Nolen but I'm not ok with our recruiting ranking overall. Feels like we've done absolutely nothing.

Honest truth is there is lag time between success and recruiting fruition. Callahan has been telling posters this for years - immediate wins don't turn into immediate recruiting. Even UGA right now is about 2 points/player below their average recruit from the past couple years - probably because of last year - not this year obviously.

2022 recruits spent most of their cycle hearing from other schools about us:
"3-7...major sanctions coming...bowl bans...new HC...all their best players are leaving...dumpster fire"

2023 recruits are the ones that will hear from opposing coaches:

Im flipping between games and asked myself is it easier to “rebuild” a program when you run a more new age spread offense vs a traditional pro style?

Teams like Baylor Ole miss Can have program ruining moments and be able to build back, I know many factors that go along with successful rebuilds but the more points you score the more likely A. You win and B. You attract good athletes. Just makes me wish we embraced this sooner, hell look at wake forest fulmer refused to embrace the clawfence and the dude is successful right now.
