I've seen a lot of common core crazy **** but I don't see the problem with this one. I'm assuming they are trying to teach kids how to do arithmetic in their head, in which case the "make a 10" rule is pretty much how everyone does it. Either this or the opposite (14-10+2). That's what I was taught and it has worked out alright for me I guess.
I don't know how this new math works. So you're supposed to "make a 10"? If a kid doesn't know what 14-8 is, how's he supposed to know what 14-4 is? Or what 14-10 is? Or how to get to 10? Or after he's done 14-10, how does he know to add 2? I'm just using the examples given here.

Yeah it really is unfair to include him. He would coach circles around the others.

Who's #2?

I would probably say Mullen. He left MSU in okay shape and had them ranked number one for a few weeks. Third would be Stoops because he's built and maintained a respectable, not great, program. Franklin did a good job on the field but things were a mess off the field at Vandy. Plus he left a bad roster for his replacement.

Talked to a college coach today. Silent commits are becoming more popular with recruits. Sure, plenty of players want attention but some players are starting to tire of social media overload.
We all want a good signing class, but the only commitments that count will happen on signing day. Do not sweat it, enjoy the ride because we now have a football coach who knows what he is doing.
