My first game was Tennessee @ USC in 2003, I talked about it yesterday. Besides USC, UGA 2014 is the only away game I’ve ever been to, but I was a season ticket holder personally from 2015-2017, and have been to at least a game a year every year since 2003. So I’m in the same boat
But my girlfriend has never been to a college football game period. She’s a clemson fan though. I want neyland to blow her away Saturday and make the same impression on her that taking her to the super regionals did. She’s a tennessee fan in all but football.. maybe neyland magic will bring her to the good side in all sports.
Reminds me of my dad’s first UT game story. He went to the 1991 “memphis state” Game lol. Said he got blackout drunk after the game and all he can remember is whatever bar they were at played Mother Love Bone, Queensrÿche and Guns N Roses and he got a crick in his neck from head banging with his friends lmaoMy first game was against Texas Tech in 1997. No recollection of the game whatsoever. Didn’t even remember who UT played. Had a great time with my childhood best friend and his family.
Only reason I could figure out what game it was because I vividly remember going back to the hotel from Calhouns and finding out that Princess Diana had died. I had never even heard of Princess Diana. Then, Mother Theresa died a few days later. Also, I remember hearing Walkin on the Sun by Smashmouth and I Just Wanna Fly by Sugar Ray ad nauseum.
I know, cool story, bro.
Y’all are going to get there at 730? Yeesh! I’ll have to talk to R to see when he wants to get there. I am thinking we will prob get there by 830-845 so we can walk over in plenty of time for the Vol walk. You should walk over and get a front line spot and save us an area for 3. Ok buddy? We are arriving at Tyson park at 7:30am is the plan. Bring your country ass on.
post the link if you canI am watching the 23 minute video of every snap in the Vols game and you can see on the first two drives clearly that Milton has some pre-read looks and goes to one side of the field or other - open space. HOWEVER, he does come off of it and go to a few other reads in the progression.
Absolutely. If we eliminate the mistakes everyone has complained about, and don't have any new ones, we'll roll Pitt up and smoke them.
After the comments from Narduzzi, I might focus on the sauce to get my loudness at the appropriate levels.Y’all are going to get there at 730? Yeesh! What section you sitting in? My tickets are in FF. When I was a season ticket holder, I was in MM (cheapest seats in the house baby) so I’m happy to have somewhat of a sideline view for this oneAfter the comments from Narduzzi, I might focus on the sauce to get my loudness at the appropriate levels.
