One thing you dont under stand is these so called top level recruits would not be top level recruits in Ga, Fla, NC. How about and let Heupel get a year under his feet before you spasm out.I didn’t expect a top 10 class. But seeing all of the top level players recruit to Kentucky in the last couple of months was a loss on heupel’s part for sure. I hope you’re right about top 15 but unfortunately I don’t think you are. It just feels like we’re not even reading about the kids being on campus etc.
Typos, I don’t really care. I post and miss more than that mostly. Still don’t care. The crap you’re spewing, I do care about. Look, I’m not giving him a blanket pass and won’t judge this recruiting class on him or his assistant coaches, considering the mess he walked into, I still remember what it felt like last year. Next year, when he starts pulling in his own recruits, I’ll start judging.Fixed. Also you got some typos yourself. As for the job…I’m thrilled with how good of a job he’s done on the field. As I’ve stated we’ve had excellent recruiters (as coaches) who turned out to be terrible coaches. We all really knew Heupel knew how to coach. Especially on offense. The big question marks were around recruiting amd how his defenses have performed in the past.
As for the recruiting…a lot of those questions revolves around his perceived lack of charisma/personality. And I think we have a right to question that. Recruiting has to improve moving forward. At some point it won’t matter if we are calling a great game is our talent is so inferior to our opponent’s. And with all the top level high school talent Tennessee produced this cycle it just feels like a massive loss that we got almost none of them.
Just saw an article about the top 100 kid out of Nashville that is thought to be committing to Kentucky in the next few days. How in the ever living hell has Kentucky strolled into Tennessee and taken all the best players? Man Tennessee has a weird fan base. Everybody is over the moon with huepel because he has been able to put up a bunch of points. That’s what we knew he’d do. The question marks were defense and recruiting. I’m not sure how he doesn’t get an F in both of those categories.
Either way Fulmer and Kiffin inherited better rosters than Heupel.Tennessee doesn’t even have close to the full 85 limit on scholarship players. I guess most of us expected or wanted a bigger margin of victory but at least they did take care of business.Look what we had on the right side of the oline. The whole tweet is worded weirdly.
Fulmer won 8 in regular season (plus the bowl) and Kiffin won 7 regular season his year here.
Every year Bama loses coordinators and I believe it has finally caught up with them. Saban had made some very good hires the past few years but something is wrong with this staff. It'll be interesting to see if he continues with this offensive coordinator.I can’t wait until Alabama comes back down to reality
A ton of kids have been on campus this season. Maybe you're not reading or hearing about it (which, seeing as you clearly don't know what you're talking about and have yet to capitalize our coach's name while spelling it a different way each time... my money is on you being oblivious to what is going on in recruiting), but recruiting has been happening.I didn’t expect a top 10 class. but supercuts says Brown is the greatest and Almighty Sabin was calling him daily LOL. Brings to mind a song of "take the money and run"Kentucky has gotten 3, 2 who are twins. We already have 3 WR’s committed, so I don’t believe the staff cared much about Barion Brown.
I swear, we have probably the most exciting year in 5 years, and some bozos can’t enjoy it.
