Are you the guy? Is that guy reading VN, seeing my post, and getting offended? Maybe get over yourself?

Nobody is offended, save that word for when it actually applies. You just tried to make a joke because there’s a recruiting lull, and it was a bad joke. The hooker joke you made was good, this one was bad. Simple as that.

Once OU gets to the SEC it is a top 3 job, he's stupid if he leaves for LSU
IDK about that. OU in the SEC makes as much sense as Mizzou. Theyll still recruit the Midwest well, but I see them struggling to pull kids from the South. Then losing their B12 rivalries I could see them losing some of their magic.

Did I miss the election that made you the arbiter of which jokes are and are not acceptable for VN?

I actually disagree, I think a perk of OU has been that it wasn’t in the SEC and cake walked into the playoffs in a bad conference.

New stadium is okay but mid pack of the SEC. Facilities aren’t great. In state recruiting is bottom tier in the SEC. I think currently, Bama, UGA, Florida, LSU, Texas are all better SEC jobs than OU. A&M, Tennessee, and OU would be on an even tier IMO.

Nope, but it’s also a forum where I can voice my opinion. You have the right to make the joke, and I can tell you I think it’s bad. That’s the beauty of this place. Now we can both place each other on ignore and keep it moving.

That’s my thoughts.

Tillman can return and improve his stock, and technically he has 2 years of eligibility left.

Hooker would be entering his 6th year in college next year if he stays, and would be in a much deeper QB class. I am fully preparing myself for him entering the draft.

Velus & Payton both are graduating and leaving, I don’t know if Payton has another year or not. He could definitely help his draft chances with another season here.
I heard that Hendon is now pushing into Top 10 QB draft prospects of the class. With a quality showing at the Senior Bowl, Pro Days, and Combine he could push as high as 5th imo.

Before I heard that I thought for sure he'd come back, now I think its 50/50.

Even if you think OU is overrated, LSU is no better in the 16-team SEC era
