My thoughts if I’m Lincoln Riley is that he’s probably a better coach than Ed O and Les Miles and even they were able to win a National Championship at LSU.

Not at all. LSU will usually have talent. Auburn is always good and can be great. TX AM will be good as long as Jimbo is around. Then when they have to rotate opponents UF and UGA will be all they can handle.

Florida job is toxic, extremely crazy expectations there. Both former coaches were fired just 1 season after winning the SEC East.

LSU owes O & his staff 20 million, Riley’s buyout is 25+ million, Jimbo’s buyout is 0 if he leaves and nearly 100 million if he’s fired. I don’t think he leaves, but I highly doubt we see his contract reworked at A&M.

Mario Cristobal is a name that I’d be interested in. This may be the off-season where someone goes after him.

I would love to say Heupel isn’t leaving for OU if it opens up, but he did leave UCF after just 3 years to follow DW. I honestly don’t think LSU will have enough to get Riley though.

I am surprised Tom Herman’s name isn’t floating for any openings.

I heard that Hendon is now pushing into Top 10 QB draft prospects of the class. With a quality showing at the Senior Bowl, Pro Days, and Combine he could push as high as 5th imo.

Before I heard that I thought for sure he'd come back, now I think its 50/50.

Mel Kiper has had him top 8 for multiple weeks.

This. You can say LSU is a step up but you can absolutely win as much as you want at OU. There arent really a lot of limitations there.

Yeah, honestly his success this year isn’t exactly elite. Sub 3k yards and less than 30 TDs doesn’t blow anyone’s mine. But this QB class is shallow.

Pickett, Corral, & Ridder then there’s a bunch of other names that didn’t play anywhere near the SOS that Hooker did, and he played in 2 less games than most.
