AJ and it’s not even close. See this for details on AJ’s performance: A.J. Johnson - Football - University of Tennessee AthleticsJeremy Banks vs AJ Johnson. Who would you rather have and why?
I remember watching AJ. Wasn't that long ago. AJs SR stats vs this year's Banks stats are very similar. Banks are actually better. We haven't gotten to this year's awards yet, so you can't compare there. They just move very similar. Banks seems a bit better in pass coverage and AJ seemed better against the run. But very similar statsAJ and it’s not even close. See this for details on AJ’s performance: A.J. Johnson - Football - University of Tennessee Athletics
Agreed. It is extremely difficult to poach a successful head football coach from another power 5. Stoops may be their exception but he's definitely not a Riley level hire. You would think that LSU's last coaching search ending with ogre would have taught their fans that making a homerun hire is far from guaranteed.
He might not make it to the airport if he does that.I don't think Heupel leaves, but if he did, he'd instantly become the most hated man in all of Vol-dom. He'd stiff arm Kiffin, hurdle Pruitt, and claim that #1 spot all for himself. Many things would be burnt, and there would be mayhem in Knoxville. We might very well just kick off the apocalypse.
But I think he stays, and in doing so, he's basically saving the world.
My favorite line is “Nice android.”Speaking of tears… please read this. S Car fanbase is in shambles. They are meeting up at restaurant to throw down. They have pictures and everything. I’m crying in laughter

If AJ had not been falsely accused of a crime and made to miss part of his Sr year, the stats would not be as similar. AJ was a true leader on the team and, after sitting out three years due to legal issues, still made an NFL roster. AJ was All SEC as a junior and was estimated to be a 4th round draft choice after his Jr year. Do you expect Banks to get drafted at that level? Banks makes some good plays, but is often a liability. His temper can get the best of him at times as well. I appreciate Banks contributions, but I just don’t see him at the same level as AJ. Different opinions, but that is what Chatrooms are for.I remember watching AJ. Wasn't that long ago. AJs SR stats vs this year's Banks stats are very similar. Banks are actually better. Few things. Stats don’t tell the full story, AJ’s was in only 10 games. AJ was also on a much better defense with the likes of JRM, Maggitt and Barnett in the front 7, Randolph at safety who always sucked up a lot of tackles. in 2012 on that awful defense AJ had I think it was 145 tackles. Banks is on a bad defense playing beside Beasley so there’s a huge difference there between Banks now and AJ on that 2014 teamSR AJ had 101 tackles, 9 TFL, 2 Sacks, 1 INT.
Banks 96 tackles, 9 TFL, 4.5 sacks, 1 INT.... That's not including this week's win against Vandy

Oh, right. I’d forgotten about that. We all call each other much worse than that regularly on here and never resort to taking vague, blurry pictures of empty fast food parking lots next to hooker hotels, so I guess that’s why the Nancy comment didn’t resonate with me.Think it started over one calling the other a Nancy
