We absolutely must beat UF at home next year. 1st year HC for them and could set Heupel up to show recruits we can win big here.

As long as Heupel gets to 7 wins next year, I’m good. I’m indifferent on how he gets there. Would love to beat UF, but even in the middle of coaching turmoil, they likely will be more talented than Tennessee.

I’m hoping Heupel has the next ~15 years to beat Florida many times. Last thing we need though is to pile expectations on him and for him to shoot up the Hot Seat lists early in year 2 because our fanbase has no patience…

I’d say less than 5% chance he leaves.

I doubt OU wants him - first and foremost

Second, he has a great relationship with Danny White, who is getting him everything he wants

Third, I think it takes a special kind of scoundrel to ditch a place after one year - I don’t think Heupel is that guy
