I'd rather them hire someone now and not give Huepel another year to prove himself a worthy candidate.

I’m not concerned with him leaving, especially for that job. They scape goatee him n the other co/OC to save Bobs brothers job. The AD was the same then that allowed that to happen. Too many reports of how there is bad blood between him and the school because of that.

Also he’s not a low life like Kiffin that would do something like that. I don’t see him getting to a big school in the SEC and riding it for a year or even two and then just leaving the team he’s talked about family and trusting each other too. Hard to sell that family and trust thing when you just sold it to a team that you picked up just to dump it back on the ground right away.

It was an unfavorable contract. Kiffin's buyout was $1 mil if he left the first year, but dropped $200K to $800K because he left in January instead of December.

I will say that it isn't a good look for LSU to fire a coach 2 years removed from a National Championship. Don't get me wrong, it was a bad season for them, but what coach will be in a hurry to step into that kind of scenario with those expectations?
