I’m not sold on Napier either. Limited HC experience. Won at Lafayette however he should have the most talent in that whole conference just due to being in Louisiana. As another poster showed they barely won like 20 games that were one score. I get Louisiana was bad before him but 4 years as a HC seems kinda like a gamble for UF.

CBS staff sure is loving the hire. It's ridiculous. It's like anything UT does is a mistake in their eyes and anything a school like UF does is genius. I'm no expert. But I really think that's a Zook type hire. JMO

You’re right. They do assume certain schools make good choices and then give them great press. Look how they built up Mullen. Think of how they would have built up Pruitt if FL had hired him.

Zook had never been a HC before. Not close to the same thing.

Developing depth is almost as important as finding a RT. As we saw this year you can't have a big drop off from the starting 5 to 6-8. Hoping young guys take a step.
