Also true, I think Wright spent his senior year of HS bulking up and lost some of it. Still came onto the team and clocked the fastest acceleration and 3rd fastest MPH time though. But I think we'll see his speed more this upcoming year after a full spring camp.

Sampson being a return guy and former DB I think also helps him. He's got that elite speed but also has played positions that require you to be quick laterally, I'm pretty excited to see what he does here. Being a Louisiana guy and setting his HS rushing record beating out Eddie Lacy is also exciting.

He did all that and still has been just a 3 star prospect because of his size. Also a 4.4 GPA, seems like he'll be a "chip on the shoulder" smart RB that learns the offense quickly and will play fast.

I’ve always tried to bring some crumbs of info to the board but some stuff you just can’t divulge, either due to not wanting to ruin a kids moment or just people flat out telling me not to say a word.

And then some posters are just rude and I don’t wanna get into words with people on a message board and that’s why I disappear sometimes.

But I’m always around and I’ll always BLEED ORANGE.

My very unpopular opinion, Georgia is not deserving of the love they've received this season IF they lose to Bama. IF they lose this weekend, I don't think they should be in the playoffs IF other teams take care of business. If Oklahoma State, Michigan, and Cincinnati all win this weekend, I think they should be in over whoever loses the SEC Championship game, even if it is Georgia. Having looked at the schedules, Georgia's most significant win this season was Clemson, and honestly, Clemson just hasn't been that good this year. I think an undefeated Cincinnati team would be more deserving, IMO, than a team that just lost to another playoff team. The committee won't look at it that way because they, and everyone else, are in love with that UGA defense, but I don't think they should make it IF they lose to Bama this weekend.

My hope for the college football playoffs: Alabama, Oklahoma State, Michigan, and Cincinnati. Rooting for the mullet to win his 1st national championship

I haven’t caught up on all the nugs so this might be way off but I wonder if the QB @butchna & Supercuts is alluding to might currently be a Georgia bulldog and not in the portal yet.

UGA has an embarrassment of riches at QB right now.

Kirby has a history of mucking up the QB situation.

They all saw first hand what we were able to do to their offense in year one with zero depth.

You gonna tell me JT Daniels, Brock Vandergriff, or Gunner Stockton didn’t see how we chucked it around vs the Georgia offense and think they’d rather be here? Especially after they’ve spent all season on the bench behind a 5’10 walk on who will be back next year too?

Just spitballing here….

This seems pretty weak by today's standards:

As long as LSU's athletics director continues to be Scott Woodward, Kelly would owe the school money if he terminates the deal without cause. If Kelly leaves LSU without cause before Dec. 31, 2022, he would owe the school $4 million. If Kelly leaves in 2023, he would owe $3 million. After that, he would owe $2 million. If Woodward is no longer LSU's AD, then Kelly will not be subject to any payment to the school for leaving.
