Let someone else chase these entitled 17yo and break ‘em, then scoop ‘em up after they’re good and humbled. We spent, what, $20-25M on recruiting a few years ago? Prob not sustainable, but most schools will see the cost-benefit.

SMU has already done that.

He’s got a Senior Bowl invite, definitely makes sense. Get healthy for that so you can look your best for the scouts there.

Its not a terrible strategy for some of the lower teams....probably get better athletes and its easier to recruit nationally because you don't have to spend 1-3 years kissing a teenager's azz
