“It has to be done in 10 days.” Got that 2 days ago. Not sure of the significance of that time frame. May be personal or when the higher profile portals need to find a destination by end of semester. Those dates are different for varying schools…just guessing.Any idea when all these big fish/transfers/flips/commits are supplied to happen? My BVS always tells me that we get some hype right before signing day and then it falls thru for some reason.
no this is his choice. we'd be stupid not to take or at least pursue him. he would be a god in our offense.
You're just assuming he would ride the bench at Bama? Why?Oh, totally agree--- just thinking maybe he heard Evans may actually be in play? Unbelievable he wouldn't want to come here and be the starting focus day 1.... pretty stupid on his/family's part if they just want to go to Bama... he'll sit for a while or play a minor role/rotate in... oh well, at this point with what we have to offer, I don't care anymore, so go sit in T-town...
This booster NIL fund has already been in the works. I have literally posted about it vaguely several times. I am at my wit's end reading people that don't think Tennessee is in the NIL game. Very much in the game. There is big money out there, maybe not the biggest (obviously A&M is throwing unreal money out to beat what I've heard Nolen had the opportunity to get here), but we have money out there being allocated for NIL.
I don't think anyone believes he would "ride the bench", but I think that with Bama being loaded with quality RBs he will not get what he thinks he will get. The consensus is that he would be THE guy here and would rack up insane stats in this offense. You're just assuming he would ride the bench at Bama? Why?
I hope so...I really hope they have the balls to do what it takes. This booster NIL fund has already been in the works. I have literally posted about it vaguely several times. Maybe a lot of assumptions? He was prepared to make Freeman and Rees the highest paid coordinators in college football. Most likely didn’t anticipate that ND would hamstring that by hiring Freeman. Same with the S&C. Boils down to his old school having relative continuity and Kelly treading water at a new destination with a current staff fully aware that he plans to replace them.Doesn't seem like he did prior to taking the LSU job lol.
