My son got sent home early last week from “exposure”, has zero symptoms so we had him tested to he wouldn’t miss his first high school FB game. Backfire! He popped hot and his qt started over and he will now miss his first 2 games! Again, ZERO symptoms and this will be his second week out of school. Initial “exposure” was 8/28. Such BS!
Except it's not. It's all about not spreading it. Not that hard to understand. Sorry for the political stuff and you are a good dude and a good poster, I just disagree with this take.

Can I ask, how is you writing off Milton different than Nick writing off Bailey?
I’m adamant that it is speculation based on observable facts to this point. I know the counter arguments, and they are valid. That’s what mags this fun. We can observe the same facts and come to different conclusions. What I try very hard not to do is to let emotions and attachment cloud my evaluations, which I think some may be doing.

I’ve hit on a few (Pruitt’s JUCO’s, JJ Petersen, Kyle Oliver). I’ve missed on a few, laughably (Derek Barnett, Tyler Baron, Princeton Fant (expected more), and probably Tiyon Evans)

All for discussion and your entertainment value, and I have no problem stabbing anyone who wants to test their resolve 😆

You either cheated or you're in a league with 4 people.
Funny fantasy football story…. When it was first becoming a thing….. me and a guy I worked with joined a salary league from a magazine….. we took Jeff Blake and Scott Mitchell as our QBs….. they were cheap and put up good fantasy stats….. we played in a regular league and that guy selected Jeff Blake and Scott Mitchell in the 2nd and 3rd round of our draft. LOL

I just think Bailey isn't/wasn't a Day 1 starter for the SEC.

I mean he absolutely could have been, but I think you would have seen a less than stellar season if that had been the case. Straight out of HS the best thing for him would have been if Helton had still been here as OC. That style of offense fit best for what Bailey was already capable of doing. But he got long ball Chaney and Pruitt who wasted his entire first year on campus (COVID also aided in this). So he's now basically like an incoming freshmen who unlike Hooker or Milton I think doesn't naturally fit Heupel's style of offense.

Thing is though Heupel obviously believes he can learn how to run this offense or he wouldn't have let Maurer walk. I just hope Bailey does stick it out cause I think going into next season even if Milton returns there will be a much closer battle for the starting job.

Not wanting to start anything and I agree with much of what you say, however, why would HB stay with the transfer rule now? There will be more than one P5 with a clear need for a QB that had a year of tutelage under Heup on his resume. Whether he fits this O scheme or not he will fit a lot of others, even some of the teams on our schedule and in the SEC.

I hope Milton takes a big step forward this week and for the season to eliminate this controversy.

So what was it about Peterson that made you think that?

Better question is why DID he stay with transfer rule? He could have left and spent -this- season at a new school learning their new system (or potentially starting). There's not a ton of value in him being here this year unless he wants to/plans to be here next year.

Even before the transfer rule passed he could have left and still had 4 years of eligibility AND an unused RS going into whatever school he picked.
