Baron's out?

Young hasn't played a snap for us yet...not sure how anyone can believe he's our best pass rusher without seeing him in meaningful action. Cooper not playing will suck though but I think him playing at less than 100% could be even more of an issue.

Yes. Might have Gameday in Gainesville as well.

It is a weak slate of games that week, but even if we do beat Pitt, I have a hard time believing that they'd pass up the Notre Dame-Wisconsin game at Solider Field. Also doesn't help that Florida may get spanked against Bama the week before.

USMNT wins their first World Cup Qualifier.

After drawing the first two qualifiers this week they really needed that win. They are now back up to a two way tie for 2nd to end this qualifying window. Next window is in October.

Even if they do move Cade to G I don't think it'll be on the same side Wright plays. Seems they like having those two on opposite sides to help anchor the less experienced guys.

If they know Cooper can't go though hopefully they are working the new OL configuration in practice. I think Lampley and/or Harris could potentially leap Ollie at guard.

Yeah the Canada draw was depressing. It can be difficult for us to get wins away, especially when you play in environments like we did in El Salvador in game 1, but as long as you get a few draws out of those and win your home games we will qualify. We dropped the win game against Canada at home so really needed to answer back and get that win away last night. The 3+ goal differential last night was just icing on the cake.

Agree. I feel the same way about Evans. Yes he looked very good last week but he’s all of a sudden our best player and irreplaceable after one game which was vs BG? I don’t think so. Smalls and Wright will both rush for over 100 yards. We’re not winning or losing based on the availability of those 3 guys.

No, it has not been confirmed. Volbeast33 checked with his or her confidant and they said that Evans was out for this Saturday. We did not hear official word on Byron Young until a few hours before the game, so I expect something similar.

I don't think vaccinated players should be regularly tested... But vaccination status is very irrelevant once you have symptoms and a positive test.
