That press conference was boring... but..

the teams vax rate is above 85% and climbing - that's a good thing.

he didn't mention Young - i think if he was cleared he would have mentioned him. Why does the NCAA always do this stuff???

Sounds like Cooper has also made good progress and with rest today/tomorrow he should start.

What was encouraging about last weeks win and I know it’s bowling green but we won by 32 with the passing game being really terrible… could’ve easily had been 46 or more as well. Milton slid sideways on a 3rd down when he could’ve easily had ran over the DB for the first to keep the drive alive. But all in all winning while the passing game being anemic is a positive. But we’ll definitely need it to be better this game to have a shot. I think we’ll be set Pack Neyland as well! We need 90k + there this weekend. I’d have went if I wasn’t visiting family in Nebraska. Go Vols!
Yup...it was 2 overthrown bombs from being 52-6.

Whew. Looks like Cooper has moved from Super Questionable to Ordinary Questionable.

Lots of buzz about Wright this summer and fall camp. He was likely nervous and trying to make a big run in his limited time last week. I’m sure they worked on that in practice and he knows he’s going to get much more PT this weekend. I suspect we’ll see what they saw over the summer.

Glad I'm not the only one. Before last season I was saying then that I thought Small may be the most underrated guy in that recruiting class. And with this class I would say Wright.

YAC & Jay both know how to recruit skill players and both were their guys.

My person thinks he is vaxxed but not sure so there is hope he might still be cleared.
So why in the world be vaccinated if you still get tested without symptoms??!! This is a big pile of horse manure. He obviously isn’t showing symptoms, or he would definitely be out this week…no retest needed.

Who said he doesn’t have symptoms? There are varying degrees of symptoms. People play sick all the time

That’s the fastest lower ankle sprain healing ever lol I need some of that therapy
Less working parts needed in that career field. Gilliam managed OT without a knee ligament. For the big uglies it’s about what you can handle. As the noted poet laureate Dalton Leery once grunted:

Wanted to share something I finished up this morning. Very simple, but my first piece of furniture completed. Made this bench from an old ash tree. The tree was struck by lightning about 15 years ago at my parents' house in Tennessee. With emerald ash borer (EAB) inevitable, I talked to my dad about cutting it down. We felled it, took it to a local sawmill, and shortly afterward the state closed the county to ash export unless kiln dried or two years old.

That 2 years passed in June, so I was able to take several boards with me when I moved to Virginia. Bedside tables and a mirror frame are the next plans, and my dad plans to turn the rest into hardwood floors (I think its too pretty and knotty for that). I can stand on this bench and it doesn't bend a hair, and my wife can pick it up with ease. Ash is incredible wood.

It was evident that after the top was knocked out, water and some wood-borers (not EAB) got into the heartwood. Caused some really cool colors and features. I may toy with epoxy for the holes next time.
