Oh well it's all legal now. We're probably going to stay with 6 or 8 teams that have a chance at the playoffs . Just hope we have enough NIL money and the right QB to compete ..

Pruitt bought “good” players. How did that work out?

Teams that buy mercenaries also buy deserters and quitters when adversity happens.

I am fine with seeing how a good-great coaching staff does.

The ESPN 30 for 30 episode on SMU (Pony Express) was very good. The extent of cheating by the Southwest Conference was surprising.

Nope, Jake Long (the guy in the video and holding the Cheerleader) is just a single former player turned graduate assistant.

Social media ran with saying it was Pete Golding the married Alabama DC.

Well, I'm pretty sure that his wife could take one look at that public video and say, "That's not my husband". So, other than the initial shock of someone telling you your husband is cheating with a cheerleader, it probably didn't cause much more of a stink than that.

The Bowl time of year will be so much different from now on. Players and coaches alike will now start taking bids for their services..........just like the Pro's. I know it has always happened in some form but the fact that now the players can express an interest in leaving and take bids from a school and or sponsor, if the cash is right transfer, if not stay and play for the fans clamoring for your talents and the school you thought was the perfect fit to begin with.

Coaches are even worse, make promise's to a kid and his family about how great you and your school are then send them an e-mail or a hastily called early morning meeting to tell them your leaving only to prove it is all about the dollar and never about anything they sold you on when they called you everyday for 2 years.

Everybody has the right to better themselves and should but at what cost. I wonder what will be the straw that breaks the camels back and to what extent will it end college sports. The rich WILL get richer make no mistake and the pay to play will only widen the talent gap for most.

Absolutely right, but I think the other alternative is having the strongest G5 teams move to P5 conferences (like most are), and from that point you also create a G5 playoff essentially giving those kids a goal to play for. Its so obvious that there is a huge gulf between the Tennessee's and Akron's of the world. Give them a shot too.

Hopefully not, but with how social media works I'm sure him & her both got flooded with screenshots/messages/etc.
