The horses pay the bills up there like tourist season and Dollywood does down here…big money is involved…Sevierville residents raised mortal hell at the beginning of the pandemic

You don’t need to bet through the state of kentucky….. you have always been able to gamble online.

Someone else.

I don’t use them with many clients, but will for my busy ones who don’t even want to take the time to mix a protein shake, which I can completely understand in some work environments. I actually prefer bars, like the Met RX Peanut butter cup

But the monies. All the monies. I've redone my kitchen and taken vacations with the monies. I'm only in two leagues. One is $150 buy in so decent pot but the other had a $4500 pot last year. I took home almost three grand. It's worth the work and obsession.

No, not really. Granted I watched Emma Raducanu become only the second person to make it through to final round of any Open unranked (in this era). Meaning she had to qualify. The other person? The lady she's playing, Leylah Fernandez.

Remember the name Raducanu, lovely young lady. Could be first Brit to win a major since 70's. Britain is desperate for a sports hero. She is about to get paid, and be a star.

Great match last night against Sakkri, 17th. Absolute domination. Doesnt hit a lot of top spin. Just flat out crushed the ball.

Not sure about you all, but NC is getting closer. Believe we've passed a house or senate bill. It being legal at Cherokee helps, but I'm sure you all will be next if NC has it. Otherwise all those upstaters will just claim they're in NC and SC will lose all that revenue anyway.

All gambling laws are illogical and nonsensical once you have the lottery.

Yeah, here's a scratchoff that's pure gambling, takes zero skill, and has a negative EV every time. But poker, a game of skill versus other bettors, utilizing tons of skill and (in the long run) is hardly gambling at all, and can have a positive EV for about 10-15% of players, no that should be illegal. The same for sports betting (though it is vs the house and apparently has a lower % of long-term winners...because it's against the house, but it also takes skill).

So stupid.

Ohio is still about a year away as well. Bill passed but I don't think will go into effect until next summer. Stupid since we already have legal casinos.

How do you see this Pitt game?

1) Nice, early (and entertaining!) test for the Vols in Year 0 of a multi-year rebuild that will help us see where we are?​

2) Critical game on which the entire season hinges - if we lose, it sets Heupel back, starting the clock on his tenure and begins introducing doubts about whether he's "the guy"?​

I continue to bump into Vol fans who are highly anxious and seem to fall into Category 2.

Why do we do this to ourselves??

I really hope Chip Kelly is successful at UCLA. If so, he will become my Exhibit A for how we should be treating our coaches.
Get out of the way and give them space to build for goodness sakes....
