Just got to go through the designing process of a nascar paint scheme in real life with a client. Was way more fun than I would have expected. Your kids got skills! He needs to submit some selects to all the major teams.

I'm not sure what software he works in, but a few cool areas to look (cause their great programs and completely free).

Gimp - It's kind of like photoshop
blender - Why I like it is if he puts some time into learning it then he could do full 3-D mock-ups of Nascar and apply his texture designs right on a car

Really appreciated guys. He's always hesitant, no matter what. Usually makes multiple until he's content.
Had to push him for a pic of the 1st draft, haha.
But that's a good thing.

Thanks MoCo!! He wants to design either cars or paint schemes when he gets older. 1 reason he never minds helping/doing for anyone that asks.

Kids have my full support always but think his is kinda awesome, under any circumstances..

Look up ksykesdesigns and leftydesignsinsta on Instagram. Kyle Sykes (the first one) started off doing mockup NASCAR paint schemes for fun, and now is the lead designer for Trackhouse Racing's NASCAR team. Lefty just makes some INSANELY cool "what if" schemes.

yes, but who do we pay to see or who do we watch on TV? Not the admin, not the coaches, not the AD.

I will add the cheerleaders and dance team get watched too. And the band. But for the most part, it is the players.

Well, we're not watching backyard football that has no coaches, admin, etc. We have seen what it looks like when those are bad. Don't want to imagine what it is like without them.

The coaches elected to come to Nashville and meet with him and discuss everything. Everything was good except Spyre. There's no way TCU should make a better offer than UT. Ole Miss I can understand they're SEC and Lane know how to mk it happen based on his experience as a lead recruiter and ROY at USC and Bama plus they have guys like Matthew McCaughey and oil guys who don't mind spending to win. TCU a Christian private school spanked UT and Spyre. Like to be very serious Zach don't care about free Gus chicken. He has to help make sure granny is OK.

My little boy designs paint schemes/logos and picks the car models for some kind of online racing leagues. Just does them for free for anyone that asks.

Suspicious there's some Big Orange fans in those leagues

Just tell Evans to demand that his jersey be sold at Gus Chicken or whatever the hell at $100 a pop. We'll all go buy one I don't care. I'll buy one for everyone I know for Christmas.

Yeah can't help the name...lol I think it's an acronym though GNU Image Manipulation Program

Another one I like that's closer to Photoshop, but not near as expensive (Adobe requires subscriptions to use their stuff now) is Affinity Designer it's a single purchase of about $60, but they also have specials around holidays and such.

And if you're looking for a free Adobe Illustrator alternative I really like Inkscape, been around awhile too so lots of YouTube videos on how to learn it.

Layers are really strong on Gimp. Strong library of plug-ins too. Inkscape is an interesting FOSS for vector work.

The Spyre thing to me was never that impressive. It makes signing deals easy and efficient. What UT needs is donors, businesses, etc being able to offer lucrative NIL deals in the first place.

Nothing I’ve seen from him has made me desire to flip any other QB commit. Was beyond impressed with the first film on. Can make every throw with zip and shows that winner quality by doing what it takes in an offensive system that doesn’t enhance stats. Will say he needs that season under Heupel and Halzle immersed in QB 101.
