Floating this now the 12/22 Wednesday night game against Arizona I'd like to take the kiddo so if you got some tickets or will have keep me in mind. (willing to pay of course)

It's the day after my b-day and he'll be out for Christmas break, think it'll be a fun one to go to. 2 or 3 tickets would be ideal (the wife usually likes going to basketball games as well).

I remember one late summer/early fall day floating in cypress grove waters along the Tennessee and Mississippi border in a canoe with a friend in west Tennessee with John Ward making the call on a transistor radio. Magical.

Sad how far we’ve fallen but it seems they are really trying to ignite the love for Tennessee football again. I feel the beast is about to be awoken again.

Thanks for posting...when it got to the Sugar Bowl scene and Jeff Powell took off I had a massive case of chills and a flood of memories hit me.

I will never forget the feeling when Jeff Powell scored..I was sitting on the floor of the man cave at my ex-brother in laws house and I jumped up so hard I hit my head on the ceiling...I knew that game was over, and I knew that the Tennessee Volunteers were going to be a force in the years to come...now the start of the next year tested that belief but we overcame and became a powerhouse.

I really really hope for all you younger guys who have no idea what it feels like to have a moment like that in a game of that magnitude, that you get to feel that feeling someday.

And I hope the mercenary nature of sport today doesn't diminish that feeling when it comes.

OMG...I would take em in a heart beat, but we have been caretaking my Mother In Law (I haven't said anything, but she has been in bad shape, but thankfully getting better) since June and it will be later in the fall before I can make it to a game.

I got my Dad to buy me a little radio when we moved to Knoxville just so I could listen to JW. Even when on TV, I turned the TV volume down and Iistened to JW.

Evans being out would be a huge loss no doubt. But it really just reenforces what I thought was true anyways - the game is going to be put on Milton's shoulders and his play likely dictates the outcome.
