When our coaches have a full recruiting cycle to develop relationships and they land a top 10 (or better) class next year, I think we will all forget we ever wasted time talking about insufficient NIL deals…

We can’t compete at the highest level without some guys like that. We have to square away the NIL offerings, and swim in that pool if we want to win the SECC. There’s no way around it.

RB is one spot that im not too worried about. Evans is on another level sure, but the others are good enough. Unless its someone elite like Evans or Gibbs we shouldnt waste a spot on another back.

I'm talking about Danny White and Heupel pulling up to Evans' house in a Brinks truck, blasting Rocky Top. Then when Evans comes out, Heupel drops a couple money bags out the back while White yells "NIL, baby!"

Until we start doing that stuff, we'll be middle of the pack at best. We have to go big.

Because we cant.But just because you have them doesnt guarantee you will. But look at the last few playoffs teams and look where their recruiting classes have been ranked. Its not a coincidence.

Sure, but bust 5* are still usually at least serviceable even if they arent ELITE. But 3* never see the field

There’s more then just two studs on those teams
Glad to hear people admitting stars matter
Guess the top 4 teams in recruiting rankings should just play the 4 team playoff and be done
Cancel the rest of the season bc nobody else has a chance
Loser mentality doesn’t win either
