I think we're all going to have to come to terms with NIL's effect on recruiting. If the market for an unproven 5 star QB is 1.5 to 2 mil, then we either pay it or get left in the dust. We can complain all we want about it, but it doesn't seem to be changing anytime soon.

I have no problem with getting left in the dust for "unproven 5-star QB" if CJH doesn't want them. He doesn't need the experts' opinion on who is good and who isn't. He knows who he wants and can develop better than any of us or the recruiting experts.

It's generally as or more difficult to stop. Everyone's mileage will vary, of course.

It's amazing how far our Vols have come in the short time they have had under CJH with the roster that was inherited from Gump and where the fan-base was at the start of this year. I think we will be OK when everything shakes out this recruiting/transfer cycle.

I wish everybody would just quit talking about it...you got guys like dude that don't give a **** how bad your quality of life is, all they worry about is "addiction"...you know what I am "addicted" to?...being able to hike and do other light physical activities I love without being in so much pain it makes me want to die.

I love the stuff, it doesn't "work" like opiates. I can get those in bucketfulls with all the physical issues that I have if I wanted to....I don't, so that should tell you the value of Mitragina Speciosa.

Exactly. It gives me a quality of life I wouldn't have access to without it. AND without all of the issues of typical pain meds.

Just looked at the books on top 100 for libraries, and number 2 is: Hookers and Blow Save Christmas. Apparently it's supposed to be perfectly innocent for children but humorous for adults. It's about a tow truck and a snow blower. I don't know why, but I thought a bunch of you would get a kick out of this.
