For millions of people opiates or other heavy duty pks are the only thing that allows them to have even a smidgen of quality of life.
I am not going to tell you that I am the world's authority on kratom, but most of my colleagues in the field of drug prevention would tell you they have a negative view of this drug. Many people who are in recovery from opioids will crave a replacement, and many end up trying kratom. I have personally had them say to me that it is a nightmare, and only trading one addictive drug for another. Now, in a clinical setting, it might be useful, but I doubt it's usefulness when bought from a local source, and used recreationally. I also do not know of any reputable doctors who are promoting it's use.
There already medications - suboxone and vivitrol - that can be used in a clinical setting. When properly prescribed, within a carefully managed program, they can be very effective.
Even then, choose your doctor carefully. Many are out for money, rather than actually helping their patients.
That last paragraph is really insulting.
There’s lots of evidence that mixing Kratom with other substances can be a deadly combination, such as opioids. It can be deadly if in your system when you receive anesthesia for surgery.
Be careful out there VN!
Since I am here for the cash, please send me all of your money…when I get all of it, I will then fund some NIL deals.
What NIL deals does Zach have at TCU. I searched and could not find anything…
What did find are stories about Gary P supposedly begging for NIL deals as he was concerned about losing Zach. Can you elaborate? Seems unlikely that mid season after reports he found a deal?…
Gary Patterson and NIL
He's better than what they had. But he's not good enough to vault them to the next level. Even with superior talent around him he wasn't amazing at OU, and usc does not have superior talent around him.
Ok. A couple of observations.
Skipped ahead several pages to do this...
This is the RF...not th FF. People in the RF do things differently than the people in the FF.
First off we do NOT create a new thread for every thought in our mind.
Secondly...well f***...I don't remember the secondly...but it was a good one...I'm sure.
Thirdly... I probably should have started a new thread.
I don't think they are. Their biggest heartache was being told they were not allowed to play at all while the offense is on the field. They love their time and take what ever they can get. While they are technically part of the athletic department they don't get the same privileges as others (not saying they should). Most of the kids in the band are not on scholarship. They do get a small stipend at the end of the season ($400.00). They do it because they love it. The majority of them are not music majors either.
