I saw penalties that beat us. I saw some overthrown passes by Milton to wide open receivers that would have destroyed Pitt early. I saw bad ref calls. I also saw lots of potential. What annoys me is that we never win. How long are VOLS fans going to be punished? What have we done to deserve this over and over again?

I don't blame them. They got lost in the last shuffle while Louisville got picked up. Cinci always deserved better. They have both football and basketball.

If you thought we were a 5-7 or 6-6 team, that's what it was always going to be. Right now, we're going to be the dog in most SEC games. We have a lack of quality depth and inexperienced players who're going to struggle some. We can't afford injuries, COVID losses or suspensions-- and that's exactly what we had today. And we still had multiple chances to win the game. We didn't capitalize today, but there will be SEC toss-ups that we need to win.

I figured this game would get us to 6, so I'm disappointed. We kind of had the perfect storm against us....

Bad refs. Bad discipline. Bad injuries. Bad covid situation. Bad NCAA eligibility issues.

Yeah our QBs suck but man we just needed ONE break with all those things happening and we didn't get it.

Dissappointed we lost for sure. I don't care if we're playing Bama, Ga, or whomever. I don't like to lose. But if you had told me we would even be in this game going -3 in turnovers and having 13 penalties for 133 yds, I would have thought now way. Yet. with all those negatives, we had many opportunities to not only tie it up but to still win the darn game. The guys gave their all and fought the whole game. A large number of correctable mistakes and I think they will be okay. Yeah, Milton is still missing too many deep balls, but that one he threw to Hyatt I believe was about as perfect a throw as you will see.

We're gonna be in purgatory for a while. Truth is our chance was squandered by Butch Jones. We need a class like that again and Heupel's going to have to figure out how to do that with sanctions looming and without a legacy team. Settle in because it ain't gonna happen soon.
