Pitt is a solid football team. They have several players that will be in the NFL including their QB which gives you shot vs anyone when you have that.
Big and Slow. They remind me of the Benny Snell UK team. They arent good, others are just that bad. But anyways, Go Bears

Well we lost Shittsburgh… they’re bottom half ACC. We suck. HB deserves and IN GAME chances. I was at the game. QB play is trash.. he deserves a shot. Did
I was at the game too…..you play who you feel gives you the best chance to win the game.

Hot take –

We did a lot better today than I thought we would – even if we’d been at 100% at running back. I thought our running game was still suspect but between Milton & Hooker we got some yards on the ground.

Our passing game picked up once Hooker took over. The interception at the end is a high probability when you’re playing from behind.

Pitt is not a good rushing offense and our run defense was top 10 last week. It will still be top 10 after this week.

I think our pass defense needs a pass rush. If BY is as advertised he’ll be a huge help to our back end.

Mistakes and discipline issues are fairly common for teams with a first year staff.

I thought Pickett would be the difference in this game along with the fact that this was a well-established team under Narduzzi.

We could have won the game. That surprised me. Even though we lost I think there were a lot more positives than I would have expected.

We need more bodies.............now.

All this is jmo.
This is really the only logical response from anyone watching the game that isn't (A) intoxicated (B) watching the game looking for confirmation bias. Unfortunately, most of our fans fall into one of those categories.

With multiple starters out, bad OL play, and bad QB play we put up 34 points on a solid ACC team. In the last 3 years, we have only scored 34 points in 3 other P5 games:

- 2019 South Carolina [41 points]
- 2020 Missouri [35 points]
- 2020 Vandy [42 points]

We put up 34 points with 33 yards rushing from our RBs, 13 penalties, and 3 TOs. I am usually pessimistic, but Heupel is an offensive coach and managed to put up points on a solid defense despite bad circumstances. That is promising for the future.

I see it the same way.

They also played with their hair on fire.

I’m intrigued to see what this team looks like in a few weeks.
