That's a horrible trophy.
My brother @BaldBiker and others who I may be forgetting might enjoy this, plus I bet this is local to some of y'all (even if it was a few years back).
I have seen that drill team myself and, yes, they are very impressive.I have seen a marine drill team before, but it was a long time ago. It was when I was at Fort Belvoir, VA in 1984, to be exact. I don't remember all the details, but I do remember it gave me chills that time, too. So very impressive.
Same here on the bolded, but no one cares about that any more unless they're trying to build a narrative for us.....which they're not.I used to always pull for any SEC team when they weren’t playing us because it made us look better. But we’ve been down so long, I’ve been of the mindset that if we aren’t winning, I don’t want anyone else to win either. Sort of a misery loves company type of thing, I guess. And I know we’ve had a good year, but it’s still not enough to shake that feeling for me.
I had to put that guy on ignore. He had that bruinvol/lebvol vibe.INB4 @mr.checkerboards says this is a huge loss. Remember, Henden Hooker did not make any throws this year guys.
True he did have myocarditis (inflammation of the heart) It was discovered during his Covid screening (because he had covid). It was never divulged for certain if it was pre-existing or possibly caused by Covid. Look up the video of him having extreme shakes during the game he threw multiple interceptions. I think it was the Wake Forest game. They said he was just cold, but it was very unnatural and almost certainly the result of some post covid issues. This isn't too present an argument for canceling bowl games. It is to point out that athletes aren't completely immune to having some serious issues relating to covid. Particularly if they have an unknown pre-existing condition, that may have otherwise not have caused any issues. I personally know multiple people who have died from covid. I know others that are still living with serious complications as a result of covid. I also know many others that have resumed life just fine post covid. The truth of the matter is that the "specialists" don't know enough and we've been lied to. Even if they do know, we are still being lied to, because this presented another opportunity for those in power to line their pockets.
You poor soul. The 'rona took away your ability to enjoy Reese's PB Cups?? That is truly horrible.Has the ronis in August. Smell and taste is still off. It's mostly back but chocolate and peanut butter taste disgusting. I can't smell poop (baby or dog is the exposure). Can't smell body odor... I think .. I just remain diligent in deodorant just in case lol.
I had a fever, sinus pressure, loss of taste/smell and blood pressure went to 180 for a day or two (never had BP issues). It normalized after those couple of days. I was never tired. I was fidgety. Want to go do yard work and stuff but chose otherwise. Weird virus.
