I'm more impressed with what he does when he's not the target. Kid actually gets out there and blocks.

Absolutely. I really don’t think he’s getting talked about enough. If we can find someone to throw the ball to him, he can catch it in stride consistently or go up and get 50/50 balls. That, in addition to his ability to block, makes him somebody to watch. But, he may end up being one of those Volunteers we’ve seen too much of recently… loads of potential that isn’t fully realized during their tenure here.

What does a kicker know about calling plays? How many in-depth game planning meetings you think he sat in on?

Does he know about team chemistry, the locker room, camaraderie, etc.? Absolutely and he provides great insight there.

To my knowledge he’s never been a coach or anything like that, so what would he know about play calling or game plans?

I love Fuad. Great kicker. Both of his sons played here. But, for the Sports Animal to trot him out as some kind of expert in anything other than kicking is laughable.

Problem with the passing game with Hooker is that all his successful passes are due to deception with 1 specific target to throw the ball to. The positive is he threw some really good balls on those plays. But to call a "pass play" with multiple routes and Hooker dropping back to find the open player doesn't seem like a path to success for him.

Man, Arkansas can go 8-28 and win 1 SEC game over 3 years, then hire a career OL coach and be laying the wood to Texas in year 2. Meanwhile it’ll probably take us 5 or 6 years just to get back to beating Kentucky consistently. #JustVolThings
