Heupel called a great game and Hooker missed at least 4 touchdowns. There were dudes open all game. It should have never even been this close.

Purdue DC was right, he only can hit 10 yarders or less

Not counting what the ACC officials did to us (again), I'm ok with that. I like having a coach that has the mahbles to go for it.

Going for it on 4th down isn't what I'm talking about when I say, "this lose is on Heupel."

This game highlighted every weakness we have on our roster.

* No Pass Rush
* LBs missing tackles/can't get off blocks
* DBs can't play man-to-man (they did get 2 picks so thats a positive)
* Safeties too slow
* Big need at RT (Mincey??????)
* We need bigger backs
* We will always get screwed by the refs so we can't put the game in their hands
* 2nd Q woes AGAIN.

Hooker NEEDED to come back, he still has a lot to improve. He overthrew/underthrew 6-7 TDs.

Overall, we had plenty of chances to win this game. We can question the end of regulation play calling to setup that FG or not kicking the FG in OT but I like being aggressive and playing to win. I can live with the results going for the win and not playing not to lose.

Let's hit this portal and fill some big roles on the roster. Let's get back to the weight room and practice field and get stronger and better. This lost didn't sway how I think next year can go but we all know we have areas to improve, coaching included.

I agree 100%. Every game has play calls where you can second guess a coach, or say if this player did or didn't do this or that. The problem is, what the hell do we even have replay for? The refs made a bad call on the field. Do the right thing and reverse it when it is blatantly obvious to everybody in the world who was watching. Complete BS!!!!!

Loss is on Hooker. Dude has been good all year but he was awful today.

He missed a few. Also threw for 5 tds and no int’s. Ran for a ton of first downs. If this is who you pin the loss on shows you dont understand fooseball.

Yeah these are good points The truth is we werent a very good team that played pretty dang good most of the year. Hopefully this puts a fire in everyones belly going into this offseason.

If nothing else, there needs to be a rule for these flopping players. It's wrong to watch them stop our play and then two plays later out there jumping around and celebrating. Put them in an injury tent for the series. That will end it fast.

So true. Not one Purdue fan would have been angry at the call if they had overturned it. He fought for it and earned the TD. That was obvious. Just get the call right and reward players for making plays. Dont punish them cause your idiot ref called it dead too quick.
