I was at the game and did not hear a discussion on the call at the end. Are they saying the judgment was his forward progress had stopped

The Line judge ruled forward progress. As a result the play was not reviewable.

The rule needs to be changed so that the Whistle ends the play. If whistle is not initiated then forward progress should not be able to be called.

Whistle was blown at the end of the play. But, per the rule the Whistle doesn’t matter because the Ref can decide forward progress at any time.

We did plenty to deserve to lose the game but have to love how they competed to come back. The worst part is the refs took the end out of the players hands. Not saying we would’ve won, but at least let the players decide. Love Heupel going for it on fourth down twice in OT.

The horrible field conditions was definitely the equalizer of our speed advantage we had on the perimeter. Titans should be ashamed of that garbage.

Sometimes I do miss Pruitt. He would have never had us in a bowl game to start with and the games we do play aren’t close enough to get screwed over in.

Lol. I actually remember thinking that during the early Butch days. The games get “scarier” as the stakes get higher. When you suck it doesn’t hurt nearly as much to drop a game.

For everyone slobbering over Purdue’s QB….3ints negates the yardage IMO.

That dude is really good….. he was 40-52 for 390 yds 4 TDs 0 ints against Ohio State….. 40-54 for 536 yds 3 TDs 0 ints against Michigan State…. 30-40 390 yds against Iowa.

Its been an issue all year. Going deep when he only needs a few yards. Not going under center in 4th and short. A few scheme things that need to be adjusted

I would have kicked the FG in overtime on the first 4th down. Get 3 and play D.

Who all do we lose on the defensive line this year? I'm not sure what we do about corner and safety. Looking at that defense tonight I'm not sure I see a whole lot of SEC starters. We need the hit the portal like Ike!

In hindsight that was the right call, I like the go first time around, I would have kicked the second 4th though. But if we had and still lost many would be calling Huepel a chicken shat.
