Banks definitely needs to grow as a play caller, particularly with how he approaches later downs, but I'm not out on him just yet. This defense needs some dudes desperately.

Here is what I have heard today: we have no pass rush…. Linebackers are too small and not sec quality…. Corners can’t cover anyone and Burrell needs driven to the transfer portal…. Safeties are too slow and can’t cover…. If our talent is this low….. why are we so critical of the coaches….. we probably need to let the staff add talent/ depth before we start to run off coaches.

I am not commenting about his season. He had a great year and an awful game. His fumble before half completely flipped the game. He missed at least 3 easy touchdowns by terrible accuracy and almost didn’t complete the touchdown to Tillman because he underthrew the pass. He underthrew Hyatt that would have been a touchdown. He should have had a colossal game and it would have never came down to the bad call. I think he’s a good QB. I think he’s a good fit in the offense. I think he’s gonna have a really good season next year. If he plays up to his standard today, we absolutely smoke Purdue.

I hope every ref from that crew gets a raging case of hemeroids, I hope those hemeroids rupture and they fall arse first into a bucket of salt. Then, when they get out I hope they fall again into a bucket of rubbing alcohol...... Then to top the morning off I hope they have a super wet fart from the super hot Prince's hot chicken they ate the night before...............


Since I'm semi delusional from fever and cold and flu meds and the swig of moonshine I'm signing out with that. Still a VFL......... Go Big Orange!

I agree with the assessment that the Vols played well enough to win tonight. In the end the games administrators don't care as much as the fans. It's too bad. Doesn't reflect well on the purpose of academia. In the status society as has been inferred in some of the previous discussions, the truth is not paramount. Acquiescence to status is.

I was not able to watch OT due to a prior commitment, but it looks like I made the right decision being spared of seeing live yet another highway robbery by horrible officiating.

Please, Tennessee, if the Music City Bowl ever extends you an offer to play again, say no. Reject it. Two robberies in three appearances. UNREAL.

One thing that I’ve not seen mentioned and I’m not sure why: (Maybe I missed it) Hooker overthrew more bombs tonight than Milton did in his first two starts. Milton took a lot of grief. For Hooker, chalk it up as a “bad” night.
