He's a good defensive coach. I won't deny that. But he wouldn't be a great defensive coach with the guys we have out there. And imagine how putrid that offense would be with him.

He's a good defensive coach with great players. I'm not sure he's ever had to do more with less.

I think they're going to benefit by their move to the Big12 in 2025. Will be interesting to see if Fickell stays and sells that to recruits.

But I've actually always been interested in just making the G5 a different league with a national championship. And good programs can always jump up to P5 (and tbh, maybe bad P5 programs can be relegated to G5 conferences).

Not a bad idea about their own Championship bowl.

The defense is only on the field so much because they don't make plays and get off of it.

I don't think GA should get a second chance to beat bammer. They lost. Just like years ago bammer should not have gotten an unprecedented second chance to beat LSU. I think if LSU had beaten Saban the second time, they would have changed the rule on the spot to best 3 out of 5.

He started in 18 games as a true freshman and sophomore. Hardly recruited over. Dad sued UGA over injury unrelated to his son and he wanted to play with little bro. Frankly, their O Line has dropped off a bit the last 2 years although not solely due to losing Cade…

I thought he played fewer games his second season but as I edited in my prior post I'm not the most in tune with what happened in Georgia.

Thats why GA was allowed to implement the bammer bag game on a massive scale. And thats 99.9% of kirby's success. It helped bammer and doubled league's playoff money.
