We had no pass rush against Purdue. A good pass rush can make up for a below average secondary. Look at UGA.

I’d argue their secondary is above average for sure. Just not as elite as their front 7

My FIL posted a big Facebook post about me because
1. Because he couldn’t form an argument to my face.
2. Because I told him I hope the SEC 1-12 in bowl games.

He said I should care about the conference. Now this man is a Bama fan in football and a UK fan in basketball so you can take it for what that’s worth.

Aside from improving the roster this off-season, our biggest need is a rule change for the fake injuries. We are only as good as the rule book will allow us to be.

Mine raised me from birth on Big Orange, he retired to Ark and started rooting Woo pig Sooie. Wish he was still with us even if he did turn coat !

Cinci never should have been there. Michigan never looked like they were in the game at any point. Just an all-around bloodbath. SEC fans knew this was coming.

Offense. Some things that we can run that slow down the tempo and grind out a drive when needed.
Defense take every play that drops 8 and throw them in the trash

we 'struggled' against the 6 teams who had veteran players and depth. I mean if you think about, Matthew Butler played 80+ snaps a game. Think about that.

How can you expect a defense to hold these offenses, esp well coached like Saban's, Kiff's, and Brohm's to any sort of in check? You cant blitz, QB sees it all day. Line cant get a push. If you do blitz or play zone, they throw over middle and you get torched.

So im not sure why people demonize Banks. The guy is a helluva coordinator. Granted we stunk it up against Purdue, they did hold to three FG's and had two INT's.

I moved to North Carolina a couple of years ago…. We have to wear Carolina colors at my job but at a work party…. I was gifted a North Carolina shirt….. I gagged a little bit but at least it’s not an sec school.

I agree. I think Banks did a great job with what little talent he had. My only fear is they didn’t bring in a lot DB wise

The problem with Michigan is that their strengths played right into Georgia’s strengths.

And this is why the ACC, Big 10 and PAC 12 are scared of us, because they can't compete. In any given year 4 to 6 of the nations top 10 teams reside in this conference. And those at the top of this conference can't be beaten by then 8 out of 10 times.

I have been thinking about the poor calls we have been getting. It could be that officials dislike us because we go so fast and it forces them to go fast. As game wears on, they wear down and are more likely to make mistakes.
If they are not in shape, they may resent our style of play. Just a thought
