Wonder if there is any thought of moving Tank to LB.. he’s too slow for safety but would be plenty fast enough for a LB.. he’s listed at 6-0 205 right now.. Banks is 6-1 225 for comparison.. putting on 10-15 pounds during the off-season seems plenty doable.. could be a poor man’s Devin Bush 🤷‍♂️

I actually think McDonald would be the best DB option to turn into a LB...he played there in HS and he's also 6'2", taller than Tank & Beasley both.

Honestly though Whitehead should be at ILB, he's 6'2" 220lbs and was higher rated outta HS at that position instead of RB.

When you turn college football into a business.. players make business decisions. With that said, I do think certain players have an inflated self-perception resulting in the belief that they’re better than they actually are.

It's always been a business. The whole reason we have an NCAA is because Rockne and Rupp at UK were paying players. The money hasn't changed. It being open is what has changed.

Vail finally got some snow!
Top: Skiing Wednesday with my son
Middle: Gameday with my daughter.
Bottom: 1/1/22 skiing with both my kids
Awesome week! For those of you wondering, my son is actually my son again! He is seriously turning a corner 🤗

I can’t count the number of people who came up to me after the game and told me how we were robbed. One was even wearing Purdue gear!
My kids are still amazed at how Vols are everywhere and vocal! Gave and got more GO VOLS than I could count.

My takeaway from this season is that we have a coach! We have a coaching staff! We have players who are actually Volunteers! It’s a new day, it’s a new year! It’s about to be clobbering time! I can’t believe that it took over a decade to get back here. 15-0 🤠

Go Big Orange!

I may be wrong, but wasn't Kyle Wittingham interested in the TN HC job at one time? I believe the AD said thanks but no thanks.

Good looking family, stay safe and enjoy. Glad you're wearing that orange proudly.

They’re a good example of a program that’s been built for sustainable success. We beat them this year, but we’re still behind them as a program. It’s no absolute that we’ll beat them next year. It’ll probably be a toss up.

History says bet the Vols

Let’s hope. If the two played on a neutral field today it would probably be a pick em.

It doesn’t matter what the spread is. Their best decade and our worst = 8-2 Vols

You can blame the attention from recruiting that these kids get. The entitlement is hightened ten fold before on campus
It goes way beyond that. If kids aren't the best the first time they do something then they'll give up. I can't tell you how many students I have that have the entitlement "I deserve everything" mentality. It is very much this generation (ours has it too) with every commercial and ad telling these kids they deserve the best without working for it and earning it.

Agreed. One simple topic is a microcosm... What were we told about going to college? It's all you had to do and you'd make good money. That's it. Despite the worthless traps in art, psychology, social studies, nutrition, etc. It made success appear guaranteed and recruiting was even more amplified.
